“Best Korean Tofu Soup (sundubu-jjigae) in SGV!Tofu Bean is my go-to whenever I'm craving good comfort Korean food! My husband and I usually get the tofu soup combos with galbi. I always get the seafood tofu soup and it comes loaded with shrimp, oysters, and clam! Everything is so delicious here! All the entrees come with the traditional banchan and it's always freshly made! You know a Korean restaurant is good when their banchan is on point!As a Kpop fan I also love how they play Kpop and kdramas on the tvs! They even have RM's autograph displayed in the front of the restaurant as you walk in! Being Army I can't help but fangirl over it whenever I visit!“

“Got some craving for spicy Szechuan food so went to try this place. We ordered the fish fillet and intestine in hot chili sauce. That was good. Right amount of spiciness and broth. A little bit more meat in the pot, that would have been great. A small bowl of rice is $2. A bit steep. Service was great. “The classic must-order menu at Sun Nong Dan is their Galbi Jjim. This time we try their Koh Galbi Jjim. The only difference from their regular Galbi Jjim is that this one comes with an ox tail.We got the medium size and the portion is big enough for 3 people. You get to choose if you want purple rice or white rice to come with it. You can add cheese and they will do a little show for you to record the cheese being torched in front of you, but we didn’t add any cheese this time.For the sauce, you can choose if you want it not spicy or spicy (there are 5 spiciness levels); we chose level 2 and it’s not too spicy, you can still taste the sweetness. I ordered bulnakji porridge today and instead of using ground beef or cheap meat, they used a good quality meat and then they sautéed the marinated bulgogi in butter. mmm. Chives/buchu they used were fresh and green. So was the octopus. Often times you taste the fishiness but this octopus or nakji had a very clean flavor. The venue and the food they served were very clean. I highly recommend this place.“

However, I was so surprised by one of their staff that I have to thank her.I ordered dumplings and bulgogi to-go last Friday, and after I picked up the order and headed back to my car, this lady ran out (for quite a distance), just to hand me the sauce for the dumplings. I am very grateful for that.“

Very nice combo for two people while the jajangmyeon is one of the best in town if you are craving for black bean noodles and the portion of the chick is very generous for the price. “Finally decided to try this place out. I always thought the name was interesting as they do poke and chicken wings. Two great foods, but I never thought they would go together. I did a poke bowl, everything was very good, and they definitely filled the bowl to the top which I appreciate. Also, the toppings here they don't charge you unless you get extra. So that was a little surprising for me as most places charge for avocado. They do give good large scoops of protein. Everything is customizable. I asked for a side of the spicy sauce. It was a perfect kick! My partner got a hot bowl, with the sukiyaki beef. It was kind of interesting that the beef is sitting out. But after they warmed it up, he said that it tasted really good. Will definitely come back whenever we're craving poke bowls. I think I'll have to try their chicken wings next time. They have a ton of the Hawaiian canned drinks here if you are a fan of that. There is some seating inside if you want to eat inside, but most people just got their food to go. Service was good. Everyone was nice. We did come late in the night.“

“First of all, the name of this restaurant is great and it's what intrigued me to come by. The prices here are also a bit more reasonable than other pho spots here in Rowland Heights. Additionally they have the bone-in rib pho here and I'm always down for that! Portions here are good and I feel they give you just enough sprouts and herbs where you don't feel like you waste any if you don't use it all. The broth here is clear with a strong beef flavor. Meat was fall off the bone, but be mindful of a few bone shards here and there. The pho here is not quite as amazing as the ones in Garden Grove, but this is close enough and fulfills that itch without having to drive far.“

“This is my favorite place to eat in Rowland area. The food is always on point. I believe it's one of the best Cantonese cafes in all of SGV. My favorite item to order here is the mushroom truffle pizza. Their pizzas are so good. The dough is crispy on the outside but nice and chewy on the inside. They use enough cheese and are generous with the mushrooms. I also love their fillet mignon and shrimp as well as their chicken steak meals. All the food is really fresh and quick. They are packed every day during lunch and dinner times so definitely try to come early and get a seat!“

The restaurant was busy but we managed to get in Sunday noon with no wait and the service was good. You order on your phone and then they bring out the dishes/pay at the end. Mao's Style Braised Pork - 8/10: the sauce was tasty and on the sweeter side with the veggies having a nice crunch to them. Seems like the pork is not braised as long since the meat doesn't completely melt in your mouth but it was still tender and good. Chongqing Chicken with chilies - 7/10: we ordered medium spice level and this was a good amount of spice to need a break in-between eating a few pieces at a time. The flavor was good and the chicken was moist, although the outside of the chicken was not as crispy as other versions of the dish I've tried. Overall a solid dish.“
