“My husband and I popped in for cocktails after a dinner and had a great time. At 7:30pm on a Thursday, we easily found a table and tried a pina colada and their after the gold rush cocktail - both very good. We could hear each other talk but there was still a lively ambience. The decor is fun and we’re lucky this is local to us.“
“Pinsa Rossa is absolutely amazing! Their appetizers, salads, and, of course, the pinsas with their crunchy, flavorful crusts are all top-notch. Ken and his team have done an incredible job creating a dining experience that’s simply outstanding!Dietary restrictions: My daughter, a brand new lactating mom who can’t consume lactose products, asked for a pinsa with vegan cheese, and we couldn’t tell the difference, it was great!Parking: There’s parking available half a block away from the place.“
“Great service and ambiance. Place where there are great places to sit for a quick coffee, go heads down on your laptop, or have lunch with a small team or group of friends.I was not blown away by the coffee or food I tried, but was decent and made up for by the rest.“
“Great service, love the French touches including the art, the copper counter at the bar and the idea of sitting outdoors with many wondering and stores to peek into. I ordered a Nicoise salad and was so disappointed to bite into crunchy sliced potatoes. Crunchy lettuce is a yes but not the potatoes.“
“My wife and I went to Outer Orbit for the first time recently on a date night. The food was great, the prices were reasonable, the staff were attentive and the ambiance was light and fun. I highly recommend checking it out. Parking can be an issue, (It's the mission district) it is what it is... 4 out of 5 stars “
“Had the white wine and the Gabagool — it was a treat!! If you can, try to sit the corner where the sun hits you.Service and vibes are similar any other bougie wine bar, with excellent waiter recommendations on food options. Will go again!!“
“It was fun to discover Bar Gemini in Mission/Potereo Hill... cozy little bar with a nice atmosphere and a tasty selection of foods and drinks. We got a great cheese board (paired with a French carignane and Austrian blaufrankisch), as well as smoked salmon dip, which was quite delicious. We'll try to come back!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options on the menuDietary restrictions: Some vegetarian, gluten-free, and vegan choices available“
“What a location. And although on my own I received a table and wasn't tried to be parked at the bar. Really professional service. Fresh cutlery for each course, complimentary small cup of consommé, homemade Yorkshire Pudding (?). The Artichokes were divine. Shrimp and lobster Risotto good, presentation a bit boring (the"boring" bit just because I've expected more after having seen the Artichoke plate) Ristretto was hot.And yes, if you think someone is wearing a Chanel Jacket it probably is one. But no snobbism from anyone and was ok in my makeup free, tired self. Next time I feel like a treat I'll go back“
“This place is sooo good it was worth the drive! The place is super clean and fun!The burrito was 10/10, and it is huge. I totally understand why is this price! The guacamole was delicious! The cashier was a really nice guy, and he made sure everyone had their needs met and he didn’t stop one minute! Between cleaning, greeting and etc… he is awesome! You guys are luck to have him!We are definitely coming back!“
“Red Tail Wine and Beer Bar exudes charm with its cozy vibe and diverse wine selection. The intimate setting is perfect for a quiet night out, while the knowledgeable staff ensures a great pour from their extensive offerings. Whether you're a wine aficionado or a beer enthusiast, Red Tail provides a welcoming spot to indulge in your favorites.“
“Liquid Gold is a perfect name for this beer spot. How else can you describe the golden elixir's on tap? If you are a beer person, you will leave this place happy. And I would't say you have to be a certain kind of beer person (that is, ipa, sour, etc.) Different styles are fairly well represented across many excellent local craft breweries. I really like how LG offers a very small pour option for most beers, which allows me to try a lot more without both the cost and getting too toasty. But I believe they also offer growler options, which is super convenient (especially if you're close by, which alas I am not.) Also, they have a pretty big cooler with cans, so if you need more options to bring home you're very covered. Finally, they don't serve food but I have brought snacks, etc. inside (Nourish cafe is just a few doors down, hint hint.) Enjoy a sandwich in a low-key, relaxing joint, with plenty of beer to keep your thirst quenched.“
“Looking forward to coming back and trying more of the food. I had the 2 papusas + chicken soup combo and I loved it all, especially that soup. Friendly attentive service, she even brought us a little bowl of corn alote on the house when we asked about it. So nice. Definitely recommend.“
“Amazing happy hour special where I got 3 tacos, a sangria with tips for less than $20- a steal for SF dinner prices! The service was attentive and kept the place clean occasionally checking in on our group to see if we needed more food.My favorite was the mushroom taco it was surprisingly spicy!Lots of tables for big groups inside so I can see it being a popular spot on a Friday or a more lively time.“
“Popped into Anina and, let me tell you, their punch bowl is a party starter. We went for this vibrant purple concoction, served up with a citrus twist – each sip was a fruity, refreshing delight. The bowl itself was a centerpiece, inviting us to dip in and share stories. Anina's got that laid-back, friendly bar vibe that's perfect for unwinding with friends. Whether you're here to kick off the night or cap it off, grabbing a punch bowl at Anina is a must-do“
“I’ve been frequenting Richmond Republic since the week it opened and I’m not sure I’d live here if it didn’t exist. There’s a great rotating beer selection and the food is delicious. I especially like the burgers and salads, and the fries and tots are cooked to perfection. I love all the bartenders, especially the Tuesday crew. Make sure to get an Underberg before heading home!“
“Good beer list with good variety, poutine was on offer and a large portion, well executed burgers. The bartender was great and perfect for opening up the communal atmosphere of the establishment. Vegetarian Diet: They have some great meat alternatives for a fraction of the cost.“
“I went for a book signing and found a lovely place with a knowledgeable and Uber friendly staff. Also found a bubbly to die for, local and the winemaker makes a sparkling white. I had a rose. I would go back to learn more about wines, which they had a few on tap as it is better for the environment as I was told by the bartender and part owner Jamie. There are simply not enough stars. Such a great place will definitely go again just cause I can. You should check it out“
“Small cool little spot. The sweet potatoes tacos are the reason I come here! They are legit ! Def the crowd you’d expect, but the tacos are legit, and the burrata are me two favs, but mainly those sweet potato tacos !Vegetarian options: Plenty of choices and gluten freeDietary restrictions: Vegan gluten free choices worth checking outParking: Good luck“
“We hosted a merchant event and the prices are extremely reasonable. The food was great. Lots of veg salads and two veg sausage options along with delicious wide variety of other sausages. Owners are great and working hard along with the rest of the staff. Easy to plan our event. Thanks Danny!“
“Zapatos (their version of burritos) are great. Beer selection is wide and overall, the vibe is pretty nice here. However, the front staff really want to leave by closing time; meaning, they start passively asking people to leave an hour+ before closing time. Not normally a stickler for service, but I experienced being shooed out on multiple occasions so I thought it might be worth mentioning that FYI not the most hospitable.“
“Shout out to Matt for great conversation, fun records, and delicious wine recommendations. The snacks of umami crackers, cheese plate, and incredible candied nuts were tasty. The seating area had high tops, couch, bistro tables, and a bar to choose from. It's a fun spot to hang out. I'll certainly be back for record swaps on Sundays and tarot card readings on Tuesdays.“
“Great spot near Public Works and Kink Bar to grab some food that's casual and tasty. I had some fresh cut fries (delish), and a very spicy Korean style chicken wings that were yummy as well. The bar menu had a huge selection of beer, cider and non-alcoholic beers as well. Definitely recommend if you want to hang causally with friends. They have a back room with lots of tables to dine on.Vegetarian options: Brussel sprouts“
“Came here after work. Lots of tv. Have outdoor seatings and some tables inside but you can also seat at the bar area. They have free popcorn. They wr code for the restaurant next door but they are okay for you to bring outside food. As for the drinks, they have beers, cocktails, and wine or take a shot if you want too as well. They have a pool table and jukebox if you want to play music. The staffs are nice but they can get busy once the place started to get busy. Prices are decent/average.“
“Great american style pizza.Thick dough - but very fluffy and not dry at all. Amazing slices of pepperoni sausage on top - very flavorful and super crunchy. Also very nice tomato sauce and cheese.Must try!I cannot comment on location and service as we ordered via UberEats.“
“What a total cool brewery to hang out at. Food really good and great IPA's. The atmosphere is outstanding with indoor and outdoor seating. It is right next to (literally) Chase Center where the Warriors play and other concerts etc. perform.“
“Nice bar with two pool tables.I have been here quite a few times. The bartenders are nice and friendly. They have a good variety of beer, and whiskey. There is a shuffle board, basketball hoop and few other bar games.Found a lot of friendly people who are ready to play a game of pool.“
“Delightful neighborhood restaurant, especially for sushi! We walked in on a Friday night and didn't have to wait for a table. Our server was very polite and and offered great suggestions. We loved the agedashi tofu, but the sushi was exceptional. We mostly ordered nigiri with a yellowtail roll and a spicy specialty roll, but all of the fish was just fantastic and very fresh. The server explained the chefs follow a more specialized slow-preparation method for sushi and we definitely tasted the difference.“
“This is my favorite study spot, noise level low and middle eastern food choices ( tea, food, and coffee) traditional , excellent quality, and reasonably priced. I also chose to support locally owned snd operated businesses that are being lost to gentrification. This owner operated cafe is a an anchor to the community and has donated time, space and money to non- profits and activism for decades!“
“Kio - a nice spot! Super easy going vibe. Great service. Some tasty izekaya selections to meet all and any beer snacking needs one might have. On my visit - tried the soft shell crab sando and the okonomiyaki. The sandwich was super tasty, okonomiyaki was delicious but not my preferred style. Looking forward to coming back and trying more items from the extensive menu.“
“Somehow this spot feels like a backcountry ranger station or mountain top ski hut. What I’m saying is it’s cozy, simple, understated and completely unique for the area brewery/bar scene. These guys make great beer and wine locally, and empanadas are on point. Look for the ski lift chair out front and escape.“

“The 4 of us started with pikilia, a nice sampling of the mezethes, which were delicious. It would have been easier if we hadn't had to cut most items in half so that each of us could have a sample of each item. (Perhaps the plate could be sized and ordered "for 2, for 3, for 4," etc.) The beyti was beautiful and tasted wonderful. Also fabulous were the kotopoulo brochettes, souzoukaklia, and sultani. We had room to share the chocolate dome and the salted caramel gelato. We loved the food, and our server was delightful. Although the place is small, there was only one bartender and one server that Monday night; we had to request attention from time to time. The door also tended to remain open, which allowed cold air, cigarette smoke, and truck exhaust to infiltrate. We did shut the door several times, but next time we'll ask to be seated in the back. We'll definitely return - often!“
“I cannot say enough good things about this place. If I wasn’t heading back home tomorrow, I would go back to this place for a third time. The food is phenomenal, the staff are all VERY kind and courteous and the small little pub transports you across the pond. The grilled chicken is to die for - whether it’s on the chicken sandwich or Cobb salad I cannot say a single bad thing about this place. An absolute gem worth stopping in to experience!“
“Very chill spot for some really good wings. The wings melt right off the bone and there's lots of great sauces to choose from. My favorite is the buffalo sauce, it has a good tang and spice to it. Second favorite is also the mango habanero which I've noticed has a varied spice level from the 2 times I've tried it. Lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan were okay flavors. The beers/ciders/sours are from local places around the bay which is cool too and they taste great. 5 wings I think is the right amount to fill you up.“
“I've passed by Baby Blues hundreds of times and made the mistake of never stopping in. I ordered ribs, mac and cheese, and collard greens. All of the items were delicious and the ribs were as good as any I've had in San Francisco. Couple great food with with warm and friendly service and it's clear that I should add Baby Blues into the rotation of my favorite neighborhood restaurants. See you again soon.“
“Out with Hoboken Joe leaving our mark on a few watering holes, even had a few with Crazycat and his lil Pleasure Point Attagirl down at Goosebump Charlie's. Then Attagirl yells out she wants a big ol sausage!Well, that was our clue to Lickity Split outa there, so we headed straight to Schroeder's for a Bratwurst. And, I'll tell you what....it was Amazing! 5 Stars ☆☆☆☆☆“
“The Beer Hall is a sweet little hole-in-the wall joint with a very nice draft beer list and just enough wines (6 when we visited) to keep wine drinkers happy. They have a short list of nosh-ables to provide a quick bite before a show in the Civic Center area. Highly recommended.“
“It was cool to go to the game night! Great selections!I gave 4 stars since it's a bar vibe here but the tender was unenthuzed. As a bar manager, you make regulars by prompting conversations and making relationships. She barely took my order. I think the manager served my my first drink. He was nice. I mean, she wasn't rude at all, she just barely looked at me as I sat a lone at the bar for a while. Just seemed odd. Still 4-stars. Still will go back. Maybe I'll get a smile out of her ?“
“Upon our arrival at the restaurant, we were seated immediately without any wait. After taking our seats, a waiter presented us with water and menus. The restaurant offers the option to order food by scanning a QR code located on each table. Service throughout our visit was minimal but efficient, with our meals arriving promptly. Additionally, I appreciated the inclusion of two gender-neutral restrooms, which I found to be exceptionally clean—a detail I consider important when dining out.“
“Great old school food & service that's yummy & dog friendly. I'm a SF native that lives on the Peninsula. Always a special treat to stop here for a true SF experience. Fun bar adds to the cool vibe with fun & friendly bartenders!“
“They’ve been open for 5 years. Their ramen is made in-house. They’re as good, if not better, than the ramen I know. I had tonkatsu ramen with a chili miso shot. Excellent. Definitely recommend. Oh, and try their roasted green tea ice cream.“
“Stopped by for a quick drink with a friend before catching a movie at Roxie Theatre. Bartender was friendly, atmosphere was pretty quiet. If you’re looking for a local dive bar, this hits all the marks. Not sure what they have in terms of food but I think it’s not much and it’s cash only despite what Yelp says.“
“First and foremost shut out to Ace!! Amazing bartender and server. We came for a drink and their burger wich is so good by the way. But then we had Ace he's not only attentive and respectful but also friendly and very caring. The ambiance it's smooth Relaxed great for meeting a friend or having relaxed evening.Ace was very nice and I was so sad when I saw this guy giving him such a hard time and calling him racist as a Latina and a minority I have to say he was nothing but wonderful and attentive I'm so sorry that you have to deal with this entitled person u personally had a wonderful experience would definitely coming back and highly recommend this place for a pleasant evening and quick tasting bite . Thank you Ace for making our evening so special ..“
“I want to give this place a 4.4 starts (I can't select fractional stars on google). Simple good customer service stands out the most. Place is homey, maybe I'd like it a little more modern sometimes, but it wasn't a deal breaker, I would come back for a casual drink. I'd probably come here a lot on Fridays if I lived closer though. Good selection on tap. I didn't eat any food so I can't rate it.“
“Nice open space that was sadly quiet around lunchtime. You order at a kiosk and take a number, waiting a few minutes before shockingly good Detroit pizza slices are delivered to your table. Pretty filling too, so you really only need two slices for a lunch. Plus the non-Detroit items are pretty good too. Lemon Pepper Wings: I'd normally avoid non-spicy wings, but all the reviews had me curious, so decided to give them a try. Was pleasantly surprised! Reminded me of those lightly breaded chicken cutlets in some sort of buttery lemon sauce. Like chicken piccata, but without capers. Delicious creamy sauce. The wings were all drumettes, so big plus in my book. Plus they threw in 7 wings, instead of 6, so a nice bonus. The fry was mostly good, though I did encounter some soggy skin on a wing or two. Cheesy Garlic Monkey Bread: It's more like garlic knots stuck together with some cheese. The pairing with marinara dipping sauce is nice, since it's like your own deconstructed pizza. Though the marinara was cold, so that was no fun. Also, for something billed as "Cheesy", I was hoping there would be more cheese. Only the first few bites were really cheesy, then most of the cheese was pulled of. Detroit Pepperoni Slice: A classic done right. Crispy cheese edges. Perfectly cupped pepperoni so the circumference is crispy and the inside is tender. Globs of soft cheese for extra richness. Even a single basil leaf so you can say you're getting your greens. Probably the best slice option in the area. Detroit Bulldog Slice: A true original serving up a huge blast of umami. I've never had freshly sliced bonito flakes or kewpie mayo or bulldog sauce on a pizza before, but it oddly works. There was bulgogi too, but barely noticeable because just a few pieces. It's so overwhelming, I think one slice is my max, but it was an interesting experience. I think it's best to pair this with a more traditional slice. Kick' BBQ Chicken Slice: Apparently they don't just excel at Detroit slices, their regular slices are also really good. Normally not into BBQ chicken pizza, preferring more traditional arrangements, but figured I'd give it a try since they're known for their creativity here. Loaded with heavily marinated chicken thigh pieces then slathered in BBQ sauce and ranch, there was so much flavor going on. Also, loads of chicken, one slice + one appetizer could easily be a meal. Pizza Logs: I'm a big fan of mozzarella sticks since even mediocre mozzarella sticks are delicious when you have stringy mozzarella and tangy marinara to dip it in. They definitely made that base criteria here. However, I wasn't a fan of the spring roll type wrapper. Lacked all the herbs and spices that you find in typical mozzarella breading. I mean, it's still melted cheese, so I liked it, but they could have done better.“
“What used to be the old hamburger Mary's is now called The Willows it's a fun inviting friendly place where you can take a first date or meet a group of friends close to other bars and restaurants so it's a great beginning of the evening place as well as the end of the evening stop off quiet but “
“We stopped by here last night on the way to the Mission District and it was great. The bartenders working there were incredibly friendly and kind! They also have a huge selection of beer and awesome empanadas! If you're looking for a place with amazing bartenders, tons of good for beer, and empanadas, definitely go here! The guys working here are fantastic and we will definitely be stopping by again when we're in the area!!“
“Time of review 03/10/2024. The prices are based on time of review~ Hands down my favorite. We go here so much, the owner recognizes me ~Meat: 5 out of 5 ⭐️ $42 a personYou can either order the regular or premium menu. We usually get regular, but have tried the premium. Both are really good. Meat is good and they give you a lot.Sides: 10 out of 5 ⭐️The sides are why I keep coming back. The rice cakes are phenomenal. The corn cheese is superb. Soups are delicious. I’ve tried MANY Korean bbq ayce, Kogi will always be #1 when it comes to the sides.Staff: 5 out of 5 ⭐️Great staff, always changing the grill even before you can ask. Attentive and gets your orders fast. This is a safe pick whenever picking Korean ayce. They get busy during the weekends. They have a special Monday-Thursday, I believe it’s $32 a person.Overall I spent $91 + $10 = $101 for 2 people“
“Boba is good tiger brown sugar feels like it needs more brown sugar in it. Wings and fries tasted actually very good crispy batteries and tender wing. Only gripe was that with one of the larger Wings we found that it was a little pink near the bone and had a chewy texture so I had to spit it out.“
“Our favorite neighborhood place. Pizza is delicious and fun. Everything on the menu is good. Really good. Smash burger night? Still good. And don't get me started on those morning bagels. Wow. Both cannoli and olive oil cake are great... Listen, this place is great, ok?My recommendation is to come early, grab a beer and a pizza, and then head on to a movie at the Balboa. What a fantastic combo.“
