The Halfway Club is a welcome addition to the Excelsior. While we were bummed when Broken Record closed we are thrilled for the Halfway Club!Came in on a Friday night as a group of 4 for drinks. A new and very welcome neighborhood bar. The menu is still growing but what is already on there is very, very well prepared. They seem dedicated to adding only items they feel good about serving. The hamburger is terrific. The chicory salad is, too - and I am not a big salad eater. The fish that comes with the fish and chips is the best I have had.
