“I’m Cuban and very specific about where I eat Cuban food. Alma Cubana is approved by my Cuban palate. I was very impressed by the vaca frita (pictured) and the super passionfruit mojito. Magela was very kind, knowledgeable about the menu, and helped us make some great selections.“

“The Lifeguard by Edwar Simal Cafe & Restaurant and John, Eddy, & Joseph were amazing!The Lifeguard Cafe is amazing both service & quality of food. I had the Ham & Cheese Omelette(good & hearty), & the Signature Sweet Pancakes, those pancakes were a tiny bit of heaven, complete perfection. My family stumbled upon this unique cafe during our hunt for a brunch spot with good food @ a reasonable price after our 7 day cruise. John greeted us outside while we were checking out their menu, & was happy to make accommodations for all 14 of us. All service was stellar, they even gave us detailed descriptions of some of the menu items we had never had before. Some of us tried the Tropical Bombon espresso drink, delicious! The atmosphere is very welcoming for an art gallery, that doubles as a cafe. You just have to go for yourself, you’ll love it!“

“Food was good, the staff made our meal great. A short wait for an outdoor table was worth it. Kelly warmly welcomed us and made sure we were attended to throughout our meal. Even helped us celebrate a special occasion to make it a memorable and pleasant evening. Thankful for a lovely dinner experience.“
