“Wife and I made a trip from Weaverville and it was very enjoyable. The food was delicious. We had hamburger steak with onions and brown gravy, macaroni and cheese, and okra. It was all incredibly good. The way they made the Mac cheese was perfect...cup style bowl where the cheese was running down the side a little bit... cooked with heart for sure. Atmosphere was nice- relaxing and super friendly staff. We will go back for sure the next time we are in the Asheville area.“

“Perfectly cozy stop for lunch with possibly the BEST chicken tenders and fried okra I’ve ever had (and I’m from Alabama). Both perfectly seasoned, served hot, just enough crunch and tenders were juicy and delicious. ? Mac n Cheese was also creamy deliciousness!“

“This place is hands down one of the best restaurants! The food is always excellent. I used to work here over 10 years ago, and to be able to honestly recommend anything on the menu, knowing people will leave happy was just the best! The decor is very eclectic and you can tell the owners have fun with it.The scallops are my absolute favorite, and the mussels never disappoint. My husband loves the lamb shank! And for dessert, the baklava ice cream cake is a must! Highly recommend!“

“Lived in weaverville for 25 years, my first time (it has always been busy every other time we tried).Service was really good, I got a grilled chicken sandwich, grandson got a burger, grand daughter got shrimp. All were really good. The thing that would have been better would be to upgrade their French fries, they weren't good. It is a small place and can get a little loud, but it is that kind of place.“

“We had walked by this place so many times and had heard nothing but good things but being retired and on a budget, we waited until a really special occasion...our 70th Birthdays. What a culinary treat! The food was great; exquisitely prepared. The ramp salad with fresh shiitake and oyster mushrooms was delicious. My entrée, rigatoni with wild boar bolognese, was wonderfully seasoned and the pasta was a perfect al dente. Same for the spinach ravioli. The desserts didn't disappoint either. All in all it was a most pleasant evening and well worth the price.“

“First time ever going to this location. It was a bit crowded, but it's a Friday night, what do you expect? My fiancé and I sat at the bar, which was being run by Katrina, and she is a sweetheart. We got the Violet Mule and the Blooming Sangria, both made excellently. We tried the Beer Battered Cheese Curds, and they were delicious. My fiancé got the Chicken Marsala, and I tried the Peloponnesian Spaghetti. Both accompanied by a side Cesar salad, the dishes were phenomenal! This is definitely worth the visit. The prices are worth it, I promise. Will be back again for sure.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free or gluten substitute dishes available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp in back by the rear entrance.“
“Iron Horse Station is one of our favorite restaurants. The owners and staff are amazing and we are loving the new dinner menu! Vinyl Pies for lunch, Iron horse for dinner! Thank you for providing two amazing choices for us to dine when we visit this beautiful town.“

“Everything was perfect as usual , except the fried okra. It had alot of hard stick like places in it. Couldn't chew it or swallow it. It was like eating tree bark shavings. But like I said everything else was 5 stars as usual. One of our favorite places to eat.“

“On a cold, rainy afternoon working in the area, I stopped by the Wagon Wheel for some good country cooking. The staff provided service with a smile. The coffee was hot and fresh. I think they made a pot just for me. The burger and tater tots were very good. The Wagon Wheel offers home cooked meals at very reasonable prices.“

“First time diner at the Stack House. Couldn't be in a better location in "downtown Mars Hill." It's right on the corner of Main Street and NC 213. Pretty decent number of patrons on Tuesday afternoon. It has a laid-back ambiance and geographic names for menu items. It's a robust menu and you can "build your own stack" as well. I had the Exit 11 burger with fries and "home made" cherry Coke. It took a while, but hit the spot with excellent fries and a juicy burger. Service was excellent.“

“This was the best breakfast I've had in years! Waffle was light and fluffy until I coated it with butter and syrup, bacon was perfect, grits, toast and fiesta omelette just worked well together to be tasty, filling, and a party in my mouth. Our waitress was on point and friendly, quick with the menu suggestions and coffee ?“

“This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.“
