“What a fantastic find in a renovated jailhouse with outdoor and indoor seating and board games to keep you occupied. You walk in and order at the counter and the food is brought out almost immediately. Service was friendly and patient. All four in our party ordered a Smash Burger to their own liking and everything was correctly brought out. The bread for the burger was soft, the meat tasted delicious, and everything was on point. Would recommend this small town hole in the wall to anyone passing through Marshall!“
“Hollie, with Sweet Monkey, provided the catering for our wedding this passed weekend. We can’t say enough good things about working with her! Hollie was wonderful at communicating back and forth and putting together a menu for the wedding that was absolutely perfect! She provided us with items for cocktail hour, and while guests were raving about the dip she made, seeing firsthand the joy on a friends face with her cheese sauce said more than words could. Dinner was a perfect taco bar and accompanying sides. All that, plus she was so extremely professional and kind both before and during the wedding. You could do no better working with Hollie and Sweet Monkey for your catering or just stopping by her location for a meal! Thank you so much for a wonderful time, Hollie!“

“If you ever want a wonderful wood fired pizza that won't bust the bank. Then this is the place to be! The food is wonderful (meat lovers are my favorite). The staff is friendly, and you can even bring your dogs to the covered patio! If you are a native to Madison County, this beats driving 20 mins to Weaverville to get a big box name pizza from people who don't care if the food is cooked or not. Stop, take a breath, and go to Madison brewing and pizza! I promise you will not regret it. My dad can even eat here because they even have gluten-free pizza crust! On top of other menu items from salads to pretzels! But don't take my word for it. Look at the takeout i brought home for lunch!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free pizza crust! And it is wonderful!!!“

“Lived in weaverville for 25 years, my first time (it has always been busy every other time we tried).Service was really good, I got a grilled chicken sandwich, grandson got a burger, grand daughter got shrimp. All were really good. The thing that would have been better would be to upgrade their French fries, they weren't good. It is a small place and can get a little loud, but it is that kind of place.“

“This small coffee shop/ice cream shop/local shop is awesome. Come in and enjoy an ice cream or a coffee on a couch as you listen to jazz and peruse their books on the Appalachian trail. Stare off into their artwork and just lose yourself in lovely people and their conversations.“
“Can't recommend enough. When we dropped my son off at Mars Hill for college I was worried that he wasn't going to have a place to hang out and get a beer without having to get a fake ID, but when we walked up to the bar they didn't even card us! Glad to know there's still places that aren't afraid to bend "the rules" and do business their own way!“

“First time here and we came for brunch! Very friendly staff and quick service! I ordered the shrimp and grits and my boyfriend had the bread pudding waffle and chicken. Both were impeccable. And they did not skimp on the shrimp in the grits! That creole sauce on top of the dish was chefs kiss. Can’t wait to come here again!“

“Chris was an Amazing Brewhand! Very Friendly and the atmosphere in this place is phenomenal. I've been to alot of breweries. I'd say I love this Appalachian Mountain Brewery the most. He spoke highly of the BrewMaster (can't remember his name) but all beer was amazing. It was hard to make a final decision. 5-STAR!!!“

“This is located behind the Big Pillow Brewery, which is equally fabulous. First off, I hate food trucks, this really isn’t a food truck, but close….. Having said that, we have eaten here several times and without a doubt, they have the best Guacamole I have ever had. Salsa and Queso equally epic! I do not know how they do it, so creamy, so smooth, very deep flavor! Awesome! Awesome! The chips are house made and come out hot with the oil still dripping, I added salt and was in nacho heaven!!!!!!!! We have had all there dishes and are all equally awesome. The brisket taco is yummy!Grab some food and go into the brewery, sit down, order a local craft and enjoy some local great fun and people!!!!!“

“Spectacular gem! This is a cozy location with a very unique feel, ample seating and delicious, unique drinks!I normally just get a regular latte, which I did this time- it was very good. I also got “the golden hour”- which was also very good- it’s a great twist on a standard latte and I loved the turmeric! We loved the seating options. They also have games, chess, many books, in addition to supplements and book’s from local authors. The bathrooms are clean, as is the whole establishment. This place is everything I could want in a coffee shop!I’ll certainly be back anytime in in town and I’m jealous of the college students who are able to walk here at any time!Parking: Limited street parking nearby, 2 hour limit.“
“Beautiful place! Grace our hostess was wonderful! She showed great knowledge of the grapes and wines they offered. We enjoyed choosing our own cutting board selection from locally sourced goods! Wines- Orion was our favorite- Although Red Dress was very nice as well! Super clean facilities!!! Friendly! Don’t miss this jewel! A must visit! Thanks for the memories! O - we even picked up a bottle of mead! Will revisit!“
“We frequent this establishment for the beer and fun friendly bar vibe. But also the food occasionally - the steak salad is wonderful. Good quality steak thinly sliced so it works so well with the salad. Fresh salad greens and toppings. Best croutons ever are fries!“
“Absolutely loved it at wagbar today. I didn’t even take my dogs and it was such a great experience just vibing at the bar and watching the dogs run around. Everyone was so chill and relaxed. I will definitely go again with or without my dog.“

“Tasty pizza joint in the town of weaverville. Both indoor and outdoor seating are available, with live music at night, and friendly staff. Dog friendly outside. Plenty of beer and wine options, and as far as the menu goes my favorite ranges from the margarita pizza to making my own calzone. You have to get their brownie for dessert!“

“First time ever going to this location. It was a bit crowded, but it's a Friday night, what do you expect? My fiancé and I sat at the bar, which was being run by Katrina, and she is a sweetheart. We got the Violet Mule and the Blooming Sangria, both made excellently. We tried the Beer Battered Cheese Curds, and they were delicious. My fiancé got the Chicken Marsala, and I tried the Peloponnesian Spaghetti. Both accompanied by a side Cesar salad, the dishes were phenomenal! This is definitely worth the visit. The prices are worth it, I promise. Will be back again for sure.Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free or gluten substitute dishes available.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp in back by the rear entrance.“

They do a good job and there are plenty of options. We think it definitely competes with sushi in Asheville close by, so if you live north of Asheville and don’t want to drive into AVL, give this place a try! Thanks for coming to Weaverville Soba!“

“This was hands down one of the best dinners I’ve ever eaten. As a chef myself I really appreciated the plating skills and speed. The Chilean sea bass was perfect along with the bed of risotto it was on. I loved the fried oysters as well and for anyone who enjoys cider beers the one they have is really tasty. Overall it was one of the best experiences eating out I’ve had. The service was incredible and this place is definitely a hidden little gem that I recommend to anyone.“
