“Cute and convenient location with good drinks and friendly people. Tried a variety of pastries (cinn roll, pecan sticky bun, cranberry scone, pound cake & baguette). The flavors were nice but everything was on the dry side for my taste. Maybe the oven temps are a bit too low and the pastries get dried out? The baguette flavor was great, but still just a tad too hard and dried out. I'm sure everything would be great dunked in a beverage though.“

“Fantastic bean to bar chocolate shop selling an incredible selection of high quality chocolate they produce in house along with goods from other local businesses. The treats are not only visually stunning, but packed with superb flavors. The interior is clean, inviting, and curated well for grabbing some treats or even gifts. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and while the pricing was definitely higher, it was worth every penny. Did not have the chance to try out the coffee or anything from the cafe, but given it looked like they were using counter culture coffee and the standard set by everything else, I have no doubt it is fantastic. Whole this cute shop is not incredibly large, there is also plenty of seating available outside to hang out and enjoy your treats. Would highly recommend to check out this gem, and will most definitely return.“

“It’s inside ShabaShabu (adjoined to the restaurant). The building is a one-stop-shop for breakfast, lunch, and great coffee. I work from the cafe and move to the restaurant midday, then back again for an afternoon coffee. The staff are wonderfully kind and make me feel welcome.“

“My husband stumbled on Iris one day and we have been absolutely dedicated to this shop ever since. It is clear from the moment you walk in, that coffee is king and creativity key. The time and consideration they spend curating unique, high quality, experimental flavors is obvious from the moment you order to the last sip you take. They focus on quality over quantity, and execute that mission perfectly. We love sending people here who are dabbling in 3rd or 4th wave coffee or who are just curious about what that even means. I couldn't help but notice the attractively unusual lighting chandelier over the counter area. From what we gathered, the staff and/or proprietor have been at it in this location for some thirty years. “Would give 10 stars if possible. All of the drinks and food are de-freaking-licious. The cappuccino, lattes and cold brews are enough to make you write home to grandma about them. The breakfast is so scrumptious it will have you craving it the night before and dreaming about it. The staff are the friendliest most down to earth laid back folks I’ve met at a coffee shop.I’m a fan of this place but it is honestly by trial and error. “Legitimately, without a doubt, my favorite bakery in the area. I’ve tried so many bakeries in Apex and Cary — I figured I had to go to Raleigh to find something great. I’m so glad I did! Their desserts are just the right size — fancy but not pretentious! And so delicious! And I love that you can place an order online and pick up the next morning! I spent like $80 — lol. Worth every penny. We will definitely be back. Also — the bread was to die for. Ate it in a day — untoasted, toasted — whatever — it was amazing.“

“The coffee drinks are good and they have a rotating selection of beans from Black & White coffee.The drop biscuits are so delicious and you really can't go wrong with whatever you choose to go with it (jam, honey, or as a breakfast sandwich) [same as my review for the Jubala in Lafayette Village]The interior here is better than Lafayette Village, a little spacier and I think more tables. We had to wait about 10 minutes to get a table (it was Sunday at around 10 am, so a busy time) but were able to get a seat before our food and drinks came. When the weather is nice there's lots of outdoor space.“

If you're looking for a traditional raised donut and some of the best cinnamon rolls an apple fritters in the city then this is your place. A lot of the other donut shops are trying too hard and are making fancy dessert donuts but this place keeps it old school and perfect!“

“A favorite near me with warm service and donuts. The shop is tucked away but perfect breakfast or lil treat spot after getting gas or going to Harris Teeter nearby.
