“The food is delicious and as authentic. The prices in some of the things are bit more than they should be for what you get but in others is ok.Delicious pupusas which is a corn tortilla that is a little thicker and with pork, bean or Cheese filling they are amazing. The Riguas are sweet yellow corn and they come with small piece of cheese and sour cream but is a bit pricey not sure we will get it again. The baleada’s are delicious and in the picture you can see the filling they are price is just right. The mama Greta carne asada was good but a bit pricey and the quality of the steak is not that great. Flavors were good overall.Vegetarian options: Rice, beans, plantains,“

“They open at 8:30am! Located in a very small location with friendly servers. Good pork and bean pupusas for around $3 each. Breakfast plate was good and reasonably priced. Didn’t like the salted cheese. Decent coffee. Spent $30 for two breakfast plates, two pupusas, and two coffees“

“I am thrilled to have found El Pollo Rico! This is probably my favorite Latin restaurant in Raleigh! Their food is always well seasoned, flavorful, and you are served large portions (they’re consistent in terms of flavor and portions). I typically (as you can see) order (and thus recommend) the grilled chicken or carne azada (steak) with a side of plantains and charro beans with extra avocado- served with bell peppers and/or onions and pico de gallo. I am literally stuffed when I am done! ? The environment is always welcoming, waitresses are friendly and prices are unbeatable. Give this place a try! ?“
