“Tucked away just a short 10-minute walk from Hoboken train station, it is a total gem. Don't be fooled by its small exterior; once you step inside, you'll find loads of space to chill. We swung by on a Tuesday after work and snagged a table right away, but it wasn't long before the joint started buzzing, even though there were plenty of empty tables all night. They've got a decent drink selection, but if you've got a sweet tooth like me, you might be a tad disappointed. The buffalo chicken bites were a hit, but the fries and salad were just okay. We also ordered flatbread to share. The only bummer was the sneaky credit card fees—they tack on around 3% without telling you upfront. Not a deal-breaker, but it would've been nice to know.Overall, it is a chill spot to hang with friends in Hoboken. Just keep an eye out for those extra charges when you settle up.Parking: Busy neighborhood and hard to find paid street parking“

“We tried a few items. To start we got the mushroom arancini which was really delicious and crunchy. There was a cheesy cream at the bottom of the bowl that was room temp but very delicious. We got the meatball which was amazing and the bread dipped in the sauce was so good. I was really excited to get the mussels but they were really unimpressive. Not so much flavor and not a lot of broth. The bread that came with it was great. We also got the charred Caesar salad. The dressing was really thick. Almost a hummus consistency and was on the bottom of the plate. The salad was very watery but still interesting. The table next to us got the arugula salad which was beautifully presented. For entrees we got the rigatoni which was missing something. It looked like an ideal pasta but was missing salt or spice. We also got the short rib which was highly recommended. Overall I would come back here to try some other items like the salads, sides and Mac and cheese. I'm taking off a star for the mussels. I'm also taking off a star because there was a really bad smell in the restaurant. It was a mix of seafood and sewage. I don't know if it was the bathroom and kitchen smells but either way it was foul. It was kind covered up at times by a slight fragrance but still disgusting.“

“Food is top notch.About 2 weeks ago we had brunch at Martha’s and the service and food were fantastic. So tonight I ordered takeout. You can tell all the ingredients are top notch and everything fresh. The crab pasta has fresh crab, homemade pasta, and such a nice light cherry tomato sauce. I am so picky about pastas- I usually don’t order pasta out, let alone crab pasta. I catch fresh crabs all summer long- and I’m telling you- this crab is quality. Salad and dressing were great. I didn't order the cauliflower tonight, but it was fantastic at the restaurant. Now I have my new go to restaurant!“

“I have lived in Hoboken for more than 25 years and have to say that my dinner at La Boheme was the best meal I’ve had in Hoboken. Excellent menu. Fantastic staff. Missed having Omar or Lisa being there to provide that extra special touch they give at Barbès.The appetizers, main courses and desserts were GREAT!Will definitely go back in the near future ❤️“

“My top favorite brunch spot. The only spot I've been too that actually provides the definition of brunch at a great price. Unlimited food AND unlimited mimosas with a 2hr timeframe while others just provide unlimited mimosas with one entree. Plus its gorgeous inside and out. Seating available inside and outside with reservations. Musics always great and diverse. It's very popular so should book early so you're not stuck on their waiting list.“

“This is a great spot for happy hour if you're gonna sit outside and enjoy some seafood. However, there needs to be a deep cleaning done to get some of the funky smell out of the restaurant. Not to take away from the great customer service and food overall. Candles are not gonna hide it. I am very nose sensitive and can literally smell through walls, no, I'm serious. Those old bay fries were really good!“

“Omg!! Five out of five for me!!! This was my first time visiting and I was completely blown away with the food. We started with the Tuna Tartare (delish) I had the GV Chicken (delish) my friend had the Parmesan Crusted Bass he said it was delicious and we ended with the delicious ? dessert Tiramisu. The atmosphere was a lil loud for my taste but it is a very nice cozy place….the server could have been a lil more inviting but we can’t have everything lol!!! I will definitely be back soon“

“This place is like a cozy pub, not too crowded on weekdays. They have cocktails, but they're just okay. What's really good though, are the foods! We tried their salad, buffalo chicken wings, burrata with prosciutto, and truffle fries. The wings and fries were the best, super tasty! The staff there are really friendly and nice. Plus, it's super close to the Path train and just a quick walk to the boardwalk. Great for hanging out and munching on good food!“

“Trying to support local restaurants and tonight decided on Sheph & Knucklehead. Its a place I brought many friends and family, pre- COVID, to enjoy amazing beers and food! The food was amazing.... arrived still warm from delivery with a 30 min turn around. Who does not love a huge German pretzel! Joe, the owner, was extremely helpful with recommending options and being flexible with the menu. Can not wait to go there once open again, but take out will def be happening again! Yum!“

“As a native New Yorker who begrudgingly left manhattan, this is by far the best meal and the only meal that not only compares to but competes with manhattan cuisine in Hoboken. Great food, great ambiance, great service. As a food snob, I absolutely recommend this restaurant. Lea our waitress was outstanding. We had the oysters, mussels, whipped ricotta, steak and scallops.“
