“Ate here a few times they don't used processed meat. I always get a bacon, egg and cheese. Or a buffalo crispy sandwich but no buffalo sauce instead honey mustard, Mayo and ketchup with ?️ jack cheese. And have left my bank card here and they were kind enough to make sure I got it back. Honest people and the food here is great and always cooked correctly.“

“We tried a few items. To start we got the mushroom arancini which was really delicious and crunchy. There was a cheesy cream at the bottom of the bowl that was room temp but very delicious. We got the meatball which was amazing and the bread dipped in the sauce was so good. I was really excited to get the mussels but they were really unimpressive. Not so much flavor and not a lot of broth. The bread that came with it was great. We also got the charred Caesar salad. The dressing was really thick. Almost a hummus consistency and was on the bottom of the plate. The salad was very watery but still interesting. The table next to us got the arugula salad which was beautifully presented. For entrees we got the rigatoni which was missing something. It looked like an ideal pasta but was missing salt or spice. We also got the short rib which was highly recommended. Overall I would come back here to try some other items like the salads, sides and Mac and cheese. I'm taking off a star for the mussels. I'm also taking off a star because there was a really bad smell in the restaurant. It was a mix of seafood and sewage. I don't know if it was the bathroom and kitchen smells but either way it was foul. It was kind covered up at times by a slight fragrance but still disgusting.“

“Amazing Irish spot. 1) The place is very cozy. It is a warm cozy spot on a rainy day. They also have couches, which is very nice. But, getting the couches is tough. There is always someone stilling there. Also, near some seats are changing stations, which is really nice if your phone charge is running low. 2) I will highly recommend the pasties, it is meat filled pastry with gravy. Unbelievable! 3) Their Shepard's Pie was great. But, ask for their gravy on the side. It makes the Shepard's pie go from a 7/10 to a solid 9/10“

“This is hands down the best spot for a dinner with a loved one or when your family comes to town. The best food and service always. Great ownership. The place is just amazing and the prices are so good you'll be planning your next meal before you even finish. Look out for their weekly specials which are a super great deal, like lobster night and prime rib night. You cannot go wrong coming here.“

“Could not be a bigger fan. Good food and great happy hour deals. They pretty much have something fun for every night of the week. Service is quick and the staff is super friendly. Also a great place to have a fundraiser. I hosted one there last year and it was a great fit for friends, family and coworkers. Having live music was also a huge plus for the vibes 10/10“

“Be prepared to wait! But it's worth it. The food was delicious. Service was friendly. It was a bit noisy. And if you were seated in the back, you would have people standing around waiting for their tables, especially if it was cold outside. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the restaurant was right in front of the water.“

“Everything was great & we will continue to go here. But the hostess was kinda grumpy. Same woman who answers the phone. Acts like she's better than you for having “control” over the seating. She's not up to Elysian's friendly high standards.“

“Dining at Amanda's is a treat. My husband and I both had the gnocchi with a light tomato sauce. It was perfectly done. An arugula salad with orange sections, goat cheese and balsamic drizzle had the right balance of sweet and savory. The restaurant was extremely busy with several large parties, but the service was attentive. The live music added to the ambience. It was soft and pleasing to the ear. The musician performed a mix of the American Song Book and more contemporary music, pleasing all ages. I'm ready to go back. Kathy T“

“Saturday Brunch ❤️ what more can you ask for. We did not have a reservation but we were able to get an outdoor table for 2. I ordered the French toast and bacon Benedict. The perfect mix of sweet and savory. The brioche French toast had a yummy buttery coconut garnish. My husband got the classic smoked salmon Benedict and both came with a side of home potatoes.“

“My top favorite brunch spot. The only spot I've been too that actually provides the definition of brunch at a great price. Unlimited food AND unlimited mimosas with a 2hr timeframe while others just provide unlimited mimosas with one entree. Plus its gorgeous inside and out. Seating available inside and outside with reservations. Musics always great and diverse. It's very popular so should book early so you're not stuck on their waiting list.“

“It's a small cozy place and we were seated in what would be sunroom or outdoor space upon arrival. It was heated for winter. Felt a tad bit hot at times when the heat bursted but I think server reduced it. For drinks we ordered lychee martini but it tasted more like lemon than lychee. For appetizer ordered spinach and artichoke dip which pita chips. It was decent in tasting but it was missing the cheese pull for me. For entree, tried the mushroom flatbread and chicken sandwich for which both were good and flavorful. I wish the appetizer came out before entires as everything came out at once. To wrap up the night we got the salted caramel espresso martini which was delicious! The service was great and we were check on frequently.“

“Delivery order from Uber eats.So YES! Tasty! It's much better than the stores in malls. And It's my first time ordering this burger, have to say that the taste and texture of avocado go well with the meat patty. Also, when you take a bite, you can clearly tell that the ingredients are very fresh.“

“If you like cheesesteaks this will surely not disappoint. I ordered a cheesesteak with a side of fries. Both were fresh and hot. For the price it was well money well spent and left me with a some to eat for later. The service was quick and efficient, no issues there. As for the atmosphere it is organized, and sufficient. However I did order to-go, because I wanted to eat at my car. I definitely recommend coming here for a classic American meal. It'll leave you wanting for more and I will definitely be coming back for more!“

“Excellent spot. 1) I got the Irish Breakfast, it was very filling and tasty. I enjoyed every part of it. It had various meats and vegetables/beans. 2) The service was very good. The waitress came to fill my water. 3) Only thing is, the place is very busy. Sometimes hard to find table.“

“My boyfriend and I go here at least one every 2 weeks to eat. We love love it. The vibes are always nice. We are OBSESSED with the Hoboken Chicken Sandwich. It hits the spot every single time. The drinks are also well balanced and delicious. I’m already stressed about moving and no longer being within walking distance.“

“This place is like a cozy pub, not too crowded on weekdays. They have cocktails, but they're just okay. What's really good though, are the foods! We tried their salad, buffalo chicken wings, burrata with prosciutto, and truffle fries. The wings and fries were the best, super tasty! The staff there are really friendly and nice. Plus, it's super close to the Path train and just a quick walk to the boardwalk. Great for hanging out and munching on good food!“

“Trying to support local restaurants and tonight decided on Sheph & Knucklehead. Its a place I brought many friends and family, pre- COVID, to enjoy amazing beers and food! The food was amazing.... arrived still warm from delivery with a 30 min turn around. Who does not love a huge German pretzel! Joe, the owner, was extremely helpful with recommending options and being flexible with the menu. Can not wait to go there once open again, but take out will def be happening again! Yum!“

“We had a lovely experience at The Brass Rail. There were 5 of us out for brunch to celebrate my daughter's birthday. It was great from the moment we arrived. We were seated promptly and our server checked in with us right away. Clara was just delightful. We really enjoyed chatting with her! We started with mimosas, Bloody Mary and coffee. All were very delicious. Our starter was the tostadas. They were a huge hit. They could be a meal on their own. I had The mesclun salad with chicken, my husband and my daughter's boyfriend had the open faced BLT, my son had the grilled chicken sandwich, and my daughter had the lobster roll. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My son finished with the Oreo cheesecake. That was delicious (yes, I did taste that). We were very comfortable and could hear each other. Definitely would return.“

“I have not really eaten a full meal at Union Hall for years, since I had always just found it mediocre. However, since one of my favorite bars, The Stewed Cow, changed ownership and most of the staff moved over to Union Hall, I now frequent the place, though mainly for drinks. The restaurant is spacious and modern with excellent views of the Hudson riverfront. Besides being the friendliest folks, the new staff has become really dedicated to updating the beverage menu seasonally, which I appreciate, as it leads to fresher ingredients and consistently new things to try. On the current winter cocktail list, I adore the Vanilla Chai Old Fashioned with bourbon, vanilla, chai, and lemon. The more feminine take on the classic drink offers a more delicate sweetness, while still packing a punch. The Winter in Oaxaca is another gem. The menu states that it includes mezcal, agave, coffee liqueur, and coconut milk, but they left out the fact that there is also a swirl of chocolate sauce in it, making it like a boozy milkshake. Both drinks are divine! At times, I have also further indulged by pairing my cocktails with some of their crispy, thin fries, which are very addicting. If you had given Union Hall a visit in the past, but been on the fence about enjoying it, I would definitely recommend giving it another shot now!“

“Great pub, lively atmosphere & amazing band (evening before St Patrick's Day), Pub is deceptively huge.Nil points for food as the kitchen was closed, which was fair enough considering it was St Patrick's weekend, I enjoyed a liquid dinner of the finest Guinness.Highly recommend and I can't wait to come back.“

“Stopped in here to get out of the cold and have a drink while I waited for my ride. It's definitely a dive bar / pub, which is my favorite type of place. Lots of taps and a bunch of TV's if you want to watch a game. The staff was super friendly and really fast. Great place if you need a drink when you get off the train!“

“Just found this restaurant a month ago and have ordered once to twice a week. First two weeks- everything perfect, proteins delicious, sides terrific and healthy, crispy broccoli, exactly what I was looking for. The last two weeks- veggie sides dripping in oil, not healthy at all, broccoli cooked mushy, and today they got my order completely wrong, though the receipt stapled to the bag was correct. I thought I found this super healthy spot for nights that I am too busy or do t feel like cooking. After the last 2 weeks, not so sure.“
“Onieal's is our absolute favorite burger in Hoboken. They never disappoint when it comes to cooking our burgers perfectly and their house-cut fries taste super fresh! Now they've even upgraded their buns to potato rolls which is a huge bonus for us personally. This time we even tried the chicken finger appetizer which was delicious including their amazing honey mustard. To note: the bar area can get kind of loud/rowdy especially on game days (it is a bar after all). But don't let that deter you if you'd like a quieter area they have both outdoor seating and an additional back room which are both less noisy. The service is always decent but their servers are definitely stretched a little thin. This will always be one of our favorite neighborhood go to spots!“

“Farside Tavern has pretty much everything you'd want from a sports bar. First of all, they have a whole bunch of different TV screens all around, showing all the local sports teams and covering all games currently going on. Secondly, the service is great. On the topic of the TVs, I could see that the moment a game ended, one of the workers would immediately change the channel to another game. Aside from this though, our bartender (Valerie) and the manager were both super friendly and attentive. They clearly wanted to make sure we were taken care of and enjoying our experience. The place has a lively vibe with a great upbeat music selection without it being too loud to talk to others. It was fairly busy when we went on a Saturday night but I still didn't feel like it was really crowded or anything. There is a good amount of seating both at the bar and at tables elsewhere. As for the food, I got the boneless wings, which were 10 for $14 (decent deal). I tried some with parmesan garlic on it, which were fine but not great as they were slightly dry. However, I also tried some with the BBQ sauce and those were great - nicely crispy, moist, and much better than the others. The fries were also decent. To drink, I got an Orange Crush cocktail ($15), which is great if you like fruity drinks. This one basically just tasted like orange juice with some vodka in it (but it wasn't strong). My friend tried a bunch of other drinks and said that he was very impressed with all the cocktails that he got. Overall, with a great lively environment, all the local sports games showing on the many TVs, friendly service, and good food / drinks, Farside Tavern is the place to go in Hoboken for a good time out with friends or even if you're just trying to watch your favorite team play while enjoying some good vibes.“

“Sliders and wings are phenomenal. Such a fun time with some friends last night. Food was really good and drinks were perfect. Not too strong but hit the spot. Loved how spacious. Doesn't feel like a typical bar in Hoboken where you need to tassel your way to the bathroom.Parking: Hoboken is just horrible for parking.Kid-friendliness: Spacious enough to not bother others.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp for the bag dinning room.“

“The steak burrito was the perfect mix of spicy, not too much rice, not too much cheese, and flavorful steak. The spicy noodle bowl is just that. On another level of spice! A tad much. The Thai curry wings were pretty flavorful but a little oily. Def want to try a few more things on the menu but now I know that when it says spicy, they mean business.“
