“This place is phenomenal! I don’t understand how it is not packed all the time. We were looking for a place to get a good steak that was anywhere but Portland, especially downtown. We ran into this on Google. The reviews were great and I’m so happy we checked it out. We got bread, polenta salad, and coconut shrimp for appetizers. All delicious! For the entrées we got a porterhouse and a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and mushroom risotto. All delicious! The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. For dessert we got a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Perfect way to end the meal. This was a celebration dinner so we spent a good amount of money on this meal but they have a great selection of good quality cuts and other great options that aren’t priced as high. Also, the drink menu is extensive. I don’t drink alcohol anymore but they have a non alcoholic menu made with zero proof ingredient's, so I was able to have an old fashioned without the alcohol in it. That was a really nice surprise because I missed the taste of those but couldn’t drink them. I didn’t realize that was even a thing. We will definitely be back to this place in the future! Finally, I would like to mention, Elaine. She was our server. Best in the business! Her customer service was top notch, she was sweet and walked us through menu options when we couldn’t decide, and was extremely knowledgeable on the menu. I honestly wish I could have an “Elaine” at every restaurant I eat at. She made the experience there even better. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“Everything was perfect. The attention to detail especially, emphasized with the timing of our appetizers and entrees to our drinks whenever we needed refills, was planned and well executed. Danny was a fantastic server who made my birthday really special, but the other servers that attended to us outside on the patio were equally friendly and attentive as well. The food was great. The food was excellent, the care of professionalism was the best bar none. “Very nice experience. They were so helpful throughout our entire dinner. Managment was attentive to us and the meal was fantastic. The only criticism I would offer was that when the website says dress is business casual it would be nice to not see ballcaps and concert tshirts. “Really good food, very friendly staff, and really good managers, I definitely recommend Stanford’s in Tanasbourne , everyone needs to come in and try it if you haven’t yet, I recommend the fried calamari and the chimichurri steak tips, they are really really good, save space for dessert and try the chocolate mousse, and make sure to try out the drinks the way is made is all fresh made juices, so if you are in the area make sure to stop by at Stanford’s in Tanasbourne, you will not be disappointed.“

“Urban Farmer is the place to do for a perfect evening. My fiancé and I had a dinner date here as we are visiting family. Can we say the perfect date night, as we had the perfect level of service! The location was perfect, and the parking was very accessible. The food was incredible, as we enjoyed the Wagyu New York Steak, the Seared Scallops, and the Urban Mac & Cheese. “Celebrated 53rd wedding anniversary, eating there for the very first time. We both had filet mignon, & it was the most delicious steak we’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent, & we will definitely go back. Wish they would serve a few slices of bread & butter, but we were full when we left. Nice time!“

If more places focused on providing a guest experience like El Gaucho and Jen, they wouldn’t go out of business so fast. I would have paid twice what I did for this meal just for the dining experience alone. Amazing.“

“We had a lovely experience, overall, and don't have any real complaints. I only wanted to mention our wait time. We had a 4:00 reservation and were, admittedly, a few minutes late...but we weren't seated until about 4:40pm. The staff was polite but didn't apologize for the delay and there were only a couple parties ahead of us (I'm unsure if they had reservations or not). We are thankfully a patient bunch, though, so we just wanted to offer the feedback. Thank you so much for such an easy reservation process!“

“This is one of my wife and I's favorite restaurants. The food was amazing as usual. The music was a bit too loud for our taste and unfortunately there's nothing the staff can do about it. It won't stop us from coming back, though, still on if our favorites!“
