“I highly recommend Old Asia Tea House to everyone. The space, although small, is wonderful. It is decorated and lit well for a romantic dinner or a group of four. The food was amazing. We tried many of the things on the menu and were not disappointed with any of it. The cocktails and tea were also very good. The space inside is very small so make sure to make reservations if you want to sit indoors.”

Don's Favorite Foods 12500 SW Broadway St, Beaverton French • $$$$

“Outstanding food, service, ambiance, everything. The food was consistently refined but unpretentious, and every bite was balanced and sooo yummy. The service was a level of fine dining that we don't otherwise get in Beaverton, but still totally relaxed. It's a set menu, six courses the night we were there (maybe always?), each one delivered by Don with an explanation and background. Tiny space, make a reservation.”

“I am convinced that Portland is experiencing a sushi renaissance, and Koya Sushi is a shining example of this culinary revival. Regarding fish quality, I'd place it in the top 5 (at least) in the Portland metro. On both my visits so far, service was outstanding, the fish was exceptionally fresh and well-prepared, and the overall dining experience fantastic. You definitely won't find better Ikura or Takoyaki around here, that's for sure.Any sushi enthusiast should consider it a must to visit Koya.”

Restaurants by Cuisine

1st Street Pocha 12590 SW 1st St suite b, Beaverton Pubs • $$

“Definitely a hole in a wall joint hidden in Beaverton. It's a small location and can get busy during dinner time so come right when they're open. Both bossom and tebokki were made so fresh, especially the pork belly wraps. It did take about 20 minutes or so for it to come out but it was definitely worth the wait. It was juicy, not greasy. Full of flavor and the balance of the pickled reddish and the crisp of the Napa cabbage took it to town. Their fried chicken is also top tier and can't go wrong with them. Them jawns was CRISPY and not greasy, and FAT and not just fried batter. soy garlic is my preferred choice but the spicy is also a winner. there's no lose lose on any of these 3!”

The 649 18647 SW Farmington Rd, Beaverton Bar • $$

“My handsome husband and I absolutely ADORE this new find for us. I’ve lived in Aloha 20+ years and this place is exactly what I want in a neighborhood hangout, but have never seen until tonight. First thing in the door we were greeted, welcomed, told about the menu and invited to sit wherever we liked! Talk about feeling welcomed and immediate hospitality! The atmosphere was also fantastic—subdued and relaxing with agreeable lighting. But the cocktails were ABSOLUTELY EPIC! We had our socks knocked off by the flavor and variety of the cocktails, and then the presentation was just so incredibly appealing to boot! Fresh herbs (rosemary) in one drink, dried herbs (lavender) in another made the drinks delicious AND visually stunning to behold. Prices were very reasonable, so we will be coming back again and again to sample absolutely everything! 10/10 and we’ll be singing the praises of The 649 to absolutely everybody we know!”

Hapa Pizza 12755 SW Broadway St, Beaverton Pizza • $

“This is a family owned and operated business with a very unique take on wood fired pizza. All of their pizzas are good with amazing crust. The Banh Mi pizza is very popular for a reason. I liked it best and the Burrata was also very tasty. Good beer too. The only downside to this place is that it is small and busy. So happy for the family and hope they get a bigger place to spread out.”

BGs Food Cartel 4250 SW Rose Biggi Ave, Beaverton Food Trucks • $

“This place is awesome! There is an outdoor deck area where you can sit and enjoy whatever food your heart desires! Even if it's a little bit misty outside you can put the huge umbrellas up and you'll be good. We did the axe throwing before we got food and that was also an awesome experience. The guys that coach you are really cool!Wheelchair accessibility: They actually have quite a few ramps for you to be able to easily access the deck and indoors. And the food cart area is wide open, and clean and easy to navigate. They don't have any handicap buttons on the doors and the only place I had an issue with this was the bathroom doors. They are pretty heavy! But they do have a handicap stall.”

“I highly recommend this place for all your coffee cravings!!! 10/10 Ki Coffee came highly recommended by many people and my boyfriend and I finally tried it! I consider myself a coffee snob and they absolutely killed this latte. The mix of vanilla, honey, and cinnamon is the perfect balance and you can taste the quality of the coffee throughout the latte. I enjoy the quiet music and Japanese inspired decor around the shop. They tend to have steady business even 10 minutes before closing.”

I think I counted less than 7 tables (3 fit 4, and 4 fit 2), Plus 4 stools at the bar. Super cozy and intimate. Definitely recommend. Staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and the right amount of attentive. Not a lot of food choices.. but the drinks were great and the vibe even better. Looking forward to going back.”

Murrayhill Taphouse 14550 SW Murray Scholls Dr, Beaverton Beer Bar • $$

“I've been here about 3-4 times or so. If I lived closer, this absolutely would be on my regular as a go-to restaurant. I wish I would go more, but I'm not always in Beaverton. The lake views are simply wonderful and you can enjoy the outside fireplace, the lake views and all the geese from the patio. The bruschetta boards are phenomenal. What's so nice about them is you can pick your selection so if you like variety and a mix of things, you can try almost everyone in a sampler set with two orders. This is perfect for date night, or splitting with a friend. The last time I was here, I went with my parents. We ordered two bruschetta boards and the happy hour hummus. The food was so tasty and delicious. Definitely enough food for three people without ordering anything else. Rather reasonable and lots to try this way. The patio is dog friendly too. I am eager to try their new location in Lake Oswego that opened up this month.”

Carina's Bakery 4725 SW Lombard Ave # 108, Beaverton Bakery • $

“Carina' Bakery is fully vegan with many gluten free options. They have savory and sweet and lots of options of both. Our favorites are their pistachio cake, almond cake, brownies, and cupcakes. I also live that they have hemp milk as one of their drink options (plus oat, soy, & coconut). The staff are very friendly and kind, many have visual impairments (there is a sign about it). There's also a little window along the counter where you can see the staff dog, if he's in. My daughter always hope to see him. The bakery is small so recommend planning your order to go but there are a few tables inside and a few more outside.”

4.4 Superb85 Reviews

“We'd never been here before and wanted to try it out. It was pretty busy but they got us a table in no time. Everyone from the front to our server was very friendly. It was definitely a good atmosphere in there, especially for the amount of people. We ordered two margaritas and a burrito and some enchiladas. Now I preferred the Deluxe burrito dinner in the combination ordering area which you would think it came with beans and rice. One of my ways to test out a Mexican restaurant is by their beans and rice. Apparently it didn't come with the beans and rice and I was charged extra for those. Why separate it from all of the other burritos and put it in the combination section and call it a dinner if it doesn't come with the beans and rice??? I'm still a bit confused over that. They should've just left in the burrito section and left off the word dinner to be more clear. While we both enjoyed our dinners and the margaritas, I would say that it was overpriced. The margaritas didn't really have too much alcohol in them and the beans could've have used a little more seasoning not to mention that you could barely find any of the shredded beef in my burrito that was $19 + the $4 for rice and beans.”

A friend suggested it and we met for dinner and WOW! The best Japanese meal I have had for a very long time! I ordered the bento box which isn’t cheap at about $25 but you get so much food and the quality is outstanding! I normally don’t eat raw fish but could tell they know what they are doing and ordered amazing sushi (spider roll and hamachi). We had a hard time finishing everything! First course was salad with delicious miso dressing, egg cake, potato salad, crispy salmon and miso soup. We have driven by this place and didn't even know this is where we were going to try next. The best burrito so far in PDX! The only thing we want for the next one is cheese included... I figured that was automatic but I guess not. The burritos were packed full of everything and heavy!! Not gigantic but very good size and fully round like a cylinder, like they should be, a hand held burrito. We tried chicken and asada and they were great, lots of flavor and no fatty pieces. “There are so many Thai restaurants within the Beaverton area that it can get difficult to decide which one you're gonna want to put your money on while looking at a map of them all.But this I can assure you is true. None of them will ever quite compare with the food at Lanna Thai Kitchen. The food here is always delicious, fresh, perfectly cooked and never leaves you feeling burdened afterwards. I can eat three dishes from this restaurant and still feel good enough to actually go do things afterwards. Which is more than can be said for several other Thai restaurants within the same block whose food can often be extremely oily and heavy.Every dish I've had from Lanna Thai has been the best dish I've had of that type. I try something new every single time I go practically as a challenge at this point. Wondering if there'll be something on their menu that I don't love. But that day never comes. Literally everything I've eaten here has been phenomenal and always affordable too.On top of all that the people working here are just so kind and wonderful and dedicated. You almost feel like you're eating food at a friend's house here.So if you love Thai food or want to try it out for your first time someday, look no further than Lanna Thai Kitchen.”

“This place is phenomenal! I don’t understand how it is not packed all the time. We were looking for a place to get a good steak that was anywhere but Portland, especially downtown. We ran into this on Google. The reviews were great and I’m so happy we checked it out. We got bread, polenta salad, and coconut shrimp for appetizers. All delicious! For the entrées we got a porterhouse and a ribeye steak with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and mushroom risotto. All delicious! The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. For dessert we got a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. Perfect way to end the meal. This was a celebration dinner so we spent a good amount of money on this meal but they have a great selection of good quality cuts and other great options that aren’t priced as high. Also, the drink menu is extensive. I don’t drink alcohol anymore but they have a non alcoholic menu made with zero proof ingredient's, so I was able to have an old fashioned without the alcohol in it. That was a really nice surprise because I missed the taste of those but couldn’t drink them. I didn’t realize that was even a thing. We will definitely be back to this place in the future! Finally, I would like to mention, Elaine. She was our server. Best in the business! Her customer service was top notch, she was sweet and walked us through menu options when we couldn’t decide, and was extremely knowledgeable on the menu. I honestly wish I could have an “Elaine” at every restaurant I eat at. She made the experience there even better. 10 out of 10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

Not sure why I haven't made a review here since Ive eaten at least 3-5 times a month LOL. Mina is really sweet she always come to say hi whenever I come. Depends on what time youre going there might be a wait usually not too long. I remember having to wait 40 mins to an hour to be seated at their old spot haha. Love that they move to a bigger establishment which is very spacious and they offer bbq now too! They have plenty of classic Korean dish to chose from but my to go order are: Galbi - savory and sweet love the smokey taste to it and its so tender comes with rice. Bulgogi char grilled- its more on the sweeter side solid dish to eat with rice, perfect to eat family style Kimchi pancake I like the crunchy edges, it can be a little heavy as the meal went on. Makguksu don't let the cold noodle title intimidate you! The broth is sweet/ savory and the noodle got a good chew to it this is the type of dish that you have to try in hotter days it will hit the right spot. “Finally, an authentic Bento Box! Don't let this little hole in the wall, restaurant fool you... It's actually really good! I've been living in Portland for 3 1/2 years now and had yet to find a true, authentic Bento box, other than what Portland calls their version of a Bento Box: steak or chicken on a bed of rice with teriyaki sauce. This one is the real deal. (See for yourself) Place is small, but tasty. Despite what I've heard about service being slow, the staff was very friendly and attentive. We started our meal with a refreshing glass of lychee sake, and a glass of pineapple sake. Both were served cold and refreshing. Great start My friend ordered the Dagon roll, and the Crunch Spicy Tuna roll, which both were excellent. Since my youth, I have loved Bento boxes . And since moving here, the traditional style has been really challenging to find, but this place fits the bill. The tempura was seasoned nicely and served hot, the chicken teriyaki was great, and as you can see, it began with a starter salad with miso dressing and a delicious miso soup, more than enough to eat. Reasonably priced, and even more so for lunch specials. You can't go wrong in this tiny little place with a big heart and big menu.”

The family that owns it is so kind!! I wanted garlic sauce and they were out and the sweet, precious older lady went out of her way to make some fresh for me. I highly recommend this place!!”

Nikki Sushi & Steak 15135 SW Barrows Rd #145, Beaverton Japanese • $$

“Simply a very refined and creative sushi menu. Many of the items here are completely unique and others feature fish/meat that is hard to find. Some of the prices here are high, but I believe the dishes are worth it. The service is also quick and always friendly. This might be the only restaurant I've been to in the last five years that hasn't messed up any order requests I've asked for. I can be picky and they always get it right! Beautiful presentations with flowers and elaborate plating, a stunning interior, and great sunset views make a meal here an experience.”

The Roastery By Ava 4700 SW Hall Blvd, Beaverton American • $$

“I'm pleasantly surprised to see a late night coffee shop, especially one with a generous dessert offering! We visited with friends on a Friday evening after getting sushi nearby. We wanted to grab a coffee and dessert and this place totally hit the spot. I got a small latte with their espresso chocolate cake and it was the perfect combo, great flavor & consistency, perfectly balanced and decadent. My husband got the Apple strudel and that was delicious as well. Parking was a little difficult but the interior & patio has tons of seating and the diversity of patrons was great, both youngish and older, people gathering with friends or enjoying solo time to get work done. Service was fast & friendly. Vibes are chill.”

King Kong Korean BBQ 12275 SW Canyon Rd, Beaverton Korean • $$

“husband wanted to try different AYCE korean BBQ places, and based on the menu and AYCE rules, this is the first place we chose ‐‐ and I think the last. We keep asking ourselves if we want to try a different AYCE korean BBQ but end up always coming here because of the variety of food, price, and service. We've been here like 8 times in the past 14 months... (and that's a lot for us because we eat out/take out only 1~2x per week...)We go with a baby and a toddler, and we've never felt like the kids were unwelcome. It's difficult to grill and eat while taking care of 2 kids, but 2 hours is plenty of time to cook your own meat and get full. (we usually go Saturday lunch time and it's never been so packed to the point where you are ignored... not sure how it is when it's super busy)We love putting the (cooked) beef belly in the soy bean paste soup to turn it into a beef dwenjang jjigae (both items are not on the menu of the other AYCE place so that's one reason why we keep coming back!)We always ate the premium option but tried the standard this past weekend and were satisfied with the options. You can't go wrong with either! We went there 2 weeks in a row but want to go again lol”

Black Rock Coffee 765 SW 185th Ave, Beaverton Cafe • $

“Forget Starbucks...I want Black Rock! Their drinks seemingly turn out to be the same every time, delicious and not overly sweet. Always fast, always friendly, even when the weather isn't. Hard to rate this place on atmosphere due to it being a booth for drive thru. If you feel comfy in your vehicle and need a pick me up or just a nice after work/chore treat, this is the place to be imo. So turn up your heated seats, crank your favorite tunes and enjoy some of THE best on-the-go coffee.”

“WildFin is better than many restaurants at or near this price point in 2024. They have lovely service, a deep and locally rooted menu, with a pleasant dining atmosphere. There's a great mix of seafood offerings alongside classic American proteins. No matter who you are, you can probably find a dish here. This location features seasonal outdoor dining, though you basically face a noisy busy parking lot, unless you are over 21 you can enjoy their quirky indoor-outdoor bar setup.”

“We love John's Incredible Pizza! It's our go-to buffet. Love the different rooms where we can dine. Sit by the fireplace in the quiet cabin room, watch a game in the sports room, or a favorite cartoon in one of the kids' rooms. Go with just hubby or the grandkids. So fun! We really miss it! Hoping the "now hiring" sign on the Beaverton John's means that it will be opening again soon.”

“Super friendly service in a very clean, friendly environment. Food took about 12 minutes. The portions are large, enough for two servings. Overall flavor was great, and the food was fresh. The veggies had some crunch.Just a note, the Yaki-Udon noodles are not hand pulled and have a spaghetti noodle consistency. It was hard to tell the difference between the Yaki-Udon and Yakisoba noodles. But they were good none the less.Vegetarian options: Lots of great options from vegan to vegetarianKid-friendliness: Yes, noodles and kid friendly options”

“This is a family owned and operated business with a very unique take on wood fired pizza. All of their pizzas are good with amazing crust. The Banh Mi pizza is very popular for a reason. Atmosphere was comfortable and cozy. The waffle was ok, but it was really just a waffle shaped pancake, honestly the only worthwhile breakfast item seems to be The Volcano. “we have been looking for very good Mexican food and not having any luck other than Mestizo. We almost gave up after many fails. They got my order wrong and were quick to make it right and replace the wrong item. We will be back.”

“My wife and I are from LA and were ecstatic when we saw Ten Seconds Yunnan Rice Noodle in Beaverton. We happened to see it while going to Petco across the street and immediately made plans to go the next day. My wife is a big fan of their noodles and broth. If you're looking for something heavy and decadent, this isn't the spot. But if you're looking for a tasteful broth that tastes good and makes you feel good, then definitely give Yunnan a try. I personally really like the R18 - which is a chicken noodle soup. We came on for lunch and were the first customers here and it was a great start to our day!”
