I come yearly for training and tend to find a new place to eat everyday.This place after one visit I knew would be in my future visits. I had based off of prior reviews as a deciding factor for chosing this place.This is my 3rd time coming to Portland and let me say, this is the only restaurant I have decided to visit twice as the food is really that good, especially if you are a seafood person. The ciopinno will not let you down.
Wonderful service and ambience. Oysters were amazing, parsnip puree was to die for, seafood cakes were a bit tough and the ragu- though delicious could have been more for the amount of noodles (perfectly cooked al dente). Fish was a little overcooked but the sides made it worth it. We will be back to try other things!

I’ve been coming here off and on for the past 9 years and never been disappointed until recently... The flavors in their dishes are beautifully layered and the prices are reasonable for a nice sit down restaurant. Their cioppino has always been my go to dish but this last experience left me a little unsatisfied. The portions of crab were very minimal. The radicchio salad was also prepared minimally.
