“Lunch here was one of the best I’ve had in recent memory, and I can’t wait to return. We were delightfully surprised when given slices of truly magnificent fluffy, crusty bread and butter. Shrimp po’boy with homemade chips and poke bowl were undeniably fresh and flavorful, each a guaranteed reorder. Love how the shrimp were butterflied to keep the sandwich together. Do not skip dessert here because that means forgoing the carrot cake pie, and you need a slice of that goodness.“

I had the pork chop with finding potatoes and asparagus and my husband had short ribs with carrots and Farro. Food was beyond excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. Dessert was also amazing. Can't wait to go back!“

“The food is delicious at Via Locusta. I'd particularly recommend the agnolotti, which changes seasonally. Service is also good. My only complaint is that I really wish they'd add some sound panels on the ceiling inside to quiet the dining room down. It gets so loud that you can't hear the people across from you. We've generally had better meals outside than in the dining room for that reason.“

“We just had the best meal here! My partner and I had planned on going elsewhere but we got there after 8pm and didn't have a reservation, so the wait was going to be an hour. We walked over to Wm. Mulherin's Sons and they got us a table in about 15 minutes. We proceeded to have one of the best meals I've had in a while! Starters: the octopus was crispy but succulent and the focaccia was pillowy perfection! Cocktails were excellent. The sausage pizza had a wonderful mix of flavors and the crust!! ? I could have eaten the pizza crust on its own, honestly. Thick and chewy on the edges and perfectly done throughout. We also shared a seasonal pasta with ramps, morels, peas, and asparagus, and got the chocolate mousse cake and gelato for dessert, which were heavenly. Our server Jamyl was attentive and warm, and checked in regularly. All in all, a perfect meal in a lovely location!“

“Barcelona Wine Bar Passyunk is a full vibe! Absolutely loved my experience here and will be 100% returning.Went for an end of week, much needed, girls night and arrived at just the right time. Make sure to make a reservation because it gets crowded quickly. Fortunately, the staff is so excellent that I saw them handing out free tapas samples to the people who were waiting! Instead of focusing on pushing folks out the door, they focused on making sure that the wait experience was spectacular!! ???? I was absolutely impressed! We had a great server, Tabs, who absolutely knew her stuff; nailed every wine recommended! Going here just for the wine is absolutely acceptable because it’s SO good. For food, we ordered a charcuterie board, a few tapas, the paella and a chocolate cake for dessert. Out of the tapas we ordered I recommend, the Patatas Bravas, the Albondigas and the Croquetas. The charcuterie board was also a must. Unfortunately, not all the food was great, the paella was a miss and I honestly recommend just sticking to tapas, they are filling enough. All in all, wonderful chill experience that I look forward to again. It’s not a full 5 stars because the food had some misses but drinks, service and ambiance 5/5!“

“A very underrated tapas place in philly. People tend to lean towards barcelona wine bar or amada (understandable), but oloroso has some great options, too, while being relatively cost friendly. Patatas bravas are a must have if you're getting tapas and you can't go wrong with theirs. Besides the obvious, their charred octopus, gambas al ajillo, and NY strip are our favs. If you're debating between the veggie tapas though, I'd avoid the charred eggplant as it's the least flavorful thing on their menu.“

“Parking: This is located in Chinatown, so mainly street parking. Be prepared to drive around and look for a spot. There are parking garage around the block because Bar-Ly is located right across from the convention center and diagonal from Reading terminal. This is definitely a to-go place if you and your group would like to find a place to chill or gather to watch a sport game. Not only do they have their own bar, but also have a wide variety of food on their menu! Running from Viet cuisine to sushi to pizza and wings! The vibe is just energetic once you step your foot in, especially during a sport game like the Superbowl! But I would suggest make early reservations during those big game nights. There is also a party room available for guests to book for a party.Food & Drinks: I tried their wings with mango habanero sauce, salmon pizza, and one of their drink with lychee and ginger beer that I can’t recall right off my head. The drink was pretty good. Salmon pizza was wonderful. The wings, on the other hand, I feel are a bit too dry and not enough sauce. Everything else was definitely not bad at all.“

Crunchy and seasoned on the outside and juicy on the inside. Great dipping sauce as well which added to the layers of flavor. My burger was the Swiss with bacon and a variety of mouth watery inclusions. Smash burger seasoned just right. I tried the love hazy IPA and it paired wonderfully. I'd definitely recommend and will return and try other items. Thanks Lou!Oh get the fries for sure!“

“Amazing Caesar salad and cocktails. Ordered two pizzas and loved one and wasn't too hot on the other. It wasn't bad at all - just not my flavor profile. The mushroom pizza (my normal go-to) is served with wilted greens that had an off flavor that was really bitter. Again: not bad at all - just not my vibe.“

“Irwin’s is an Italian restaurant located inside Bok Building, which was an old school revitalized as an artsy complex space. From the school desks to the chairs, the vintage furnishings of Irwin’s give a nostalgic vibe.*Shallot and Thyme Focaccia **They change the housemade foccacia flavor regularly. Glad that we got to try the shallot and thyme one. The bread dough was pillowy with a shiny brown surface, while not feeling oily at all. The sweetness from the caramelized shallot and the herby fragrance from thyme made a harmonious flavor duet.*1/2 Agrodolce Chicken**SERIOUSLY how could they make the chicken (even the chicken breast!) so tender and juicy? Also can we talk about the gremolata? It was fantastic as a dish itself, and add extra textures and tangy flavors if you spread it over the meat.*Trofie (half)We know their carbs wouldn’t be as amazing as their proteins but we still wanted to try. The pasta was cooked to al dente. The mushroom truffle flavor was exactly what you could easily imagine. Nothing mindblowing here.*Milk & Honey GelatoWe picked this right away because I saw it had “pistachio”. The honey was very sweet, but premium in flavor. My cravings was fully satisfied as they didn’t skimp on the crushed pistachios on top. Lowkey wished that the gelato melted a bit slower.“

“My friend group chose Harper Garden to be our after bridal shower dinner and drinks destination. Our party of 11 was catered to by Sean our waiter, and I cannot say enough what a good job he did. Throughout the entire night, we never once felt like our large group was a burden, and all of our food was brought out quickly along with our drinks. Our group decided to stick to mostly appetizers and cocktails. The espresso martini was extremely delicious. We also had several people in the group that were gluten-free or not drinking alcohol. They had a wide variety of mocktails as well as gluten-free options for the table. We got muscles, the cheeseboard, fries, buffalo wings, shrimp cocktail and we were not disappointed with any dish. They also had options for a gluten-free bun for the burger on the menu. We sat outside on the patio, which was enclosed and heated. The decorations and lights in the area made it a whimsical evening out. I would absolutely go back to this restaurant for a date night dinner or a cocktail night with friends.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free burger buns, mocktails“
