“Wow! What a hidden gem. I ate here on vacation and am missing it everyday! Simple menu, but SO tasty. For a small beach town restaurant they pack the flavor, customer service and alternatives for us allergy folks (dairy for me). Can’t wait to drive 5hrs back for this place!“

“Menu seems to be a little limited in the off season. I visited in March 2024 and was hoping for the pink whip that’s posted in the review pictures and only the yellow pineapple whip (in a cup) was available. However it was super good - cold, sweet, light, and airy.Parking: It’s on the main road into town, so you probably aren’t going to find parking right in front, but ideally you’re parking elsewhere and making a whole day of Folly.“

“Had lunch today-superb! Had fried avocado-shrimp appetizer and shrimp tacos. Both delicious! And as good as the food was, it was far surpassed by the service and hospitality we received from Elizabeth! She made our time there very special and memorable! I hope the management at the Blu knows and recognizes what a jewel she is!“

“Had a spectacular lunch at another restaurant and went over the top with dinner at FIG. Arugula salad + ricotta gnocchi with lamb bolognese + desert of strawberry profiteroles with greek yogurt. “Delicious Lowcountry food that has been featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. The shrimp and grits were perfect. I absolutely loved them. The cornbread was decent too. We went on a busy evening so we had to wait a while to be seated, but the waiter was very friendly and explained the menu well.Parking is tight so we had to park in another lot nearby and walk a bit. The interior is pretty no-frills, but don’t let that deter you from coming to try the delicious food!“

“This is a must go to in Charleston. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and there is a fabulous covered porch on the side we loved. The staff is super friendly and the food is incredible. My husband said they made the best cup of coffee he has ever had. And they are super vegetarian friendly as well!Make sure you try the turmeric pound cake and have it warmed up! “Our first visit to Folly Beach and I'm so glad we found gems like Jack of Cups. The Asian fusion dishes are a nice twist but the highlight for us was the absolutely heavenly Ube cheesecake. And I like that the description says it's a 'no nonsense' place. Loved the atmosphere.“

“First time visit recommended by nephew. Great food, great server and prompt service. Always try to be considerate in not overstaying our welcome when people are waiting to be seated. We finished our lunch having been there a total of one hour , enjoying talk with nephew who we hadn’t seen in months when another employee rudely and abruptly said “so, are you ready to settle up?” Never have we felt like we were being ejected from a restaurant! And the real rub is there were at least 3 empty tables and a booth in our seating area. We three were so stunned by her rude manners, we politely gave her our card, (and she took the liberty of pre-selecting a 22% tip which we gladly gave our server)paid our bill and left - NEVER TO RETURN!“

“All I can say is - GLUTEN FREE Biscuits!! Being from WI, I wanted to partake in the biscuit phenomenon and needing a gluten-free option made that difficult but not @ Vicious. After ordering for takeout, we were told it would be 18 minutes until it would be ready as they were being freshly made. They provided complementary coffee for the wait. They also have a jam and butter bar. I, of course, bought some merch- a tshirt sporting "Son of a Biscuit" to display proudly! (a phase I have said too many times in my daily life). Thanks Vicious! “Absolutely amazing food. They could do both gluten free and vegan pizzas and they handmade their vegan cheese. The gf pizza was a deep dish and the dough wasn't dry at all. The whole pizza was super fresh and the cheese was the best vegan cheese I've ever had. They were super careful with the pizza to avoid cross contact and offered an option if you have celiacs. Would recommend if you're vegan or gluten free or both. The staff were super sweet and also recommended some other places that were gluten free and vegan.
