“The bartenders are soo smiley and nice TO EVERYONE!!! We came back 2 nights in a row to hang out. Seemed like lots of locals and everyone friendly and welcoming.Ate a pork shoulder sandwich was AMAZING!Highly recommend!”

“By far one of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch! Everything on the menu is excellent and the staff is super wonderful. I would recommend it over and over!! Love it!!!Parking: Sometimes hard to park on a busy day, you can park on center street or any of the side streets. If you have a golf cart it is easier to squeeze into a spot. If your staying on island and can walk that is perfect or ride a bike they have a bike rack also.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options with two patios and inside space to support kids .. both doggie kids and people kids”

“Me & my girlfriend was just in town for a couple hours & we stopped by the restaurant cause the food was smelling good. When we got to the restaurant we ordered smoke wings, mussels & shrimp po Boy. The food came out on time, great presentation & the food was amazing. I rate this place 10/10….. we will be back”

“You pick your choice of homemade pasta and sauce. The fettuccine Alfredo sauce with shrimp was delicious , as well as the Caesar salad and garlic bread. Also , the spaghetti with tomato basil red sauce and meatballs was delicious too. This is a more casual atmosphere where you order at the counter, pay , then they bring the food to your table. I noticed a lot of carry out orders . A wide range of alcoholic beverages available too. Great beach restaurant.”

“What a great beach town pie! Had a pizza and beverages with my son during spring break. Great porch, great atmosphere and really solid pizza! Service was over the top too!”

“Ya'll these peeps showed up for the Phish concert. We saw them the first night and were very intrigued. Yesterday, we ordered the Cosmic Charlie, their classic and holy cow was the burrito the bomb dot com. Definitely, stop by this food truck if you ever see them. Fantastic food! I hope they come to town again. Will definitely be trying their other foods. ????”

“We ate at the Crab Shack twice during our visit to Folly Beach. The first time was when we first arrived and were waiting for our rental to be ready. It is a dog friendly restaurant, but all the dog friendly tables are high tops which I personally do not like. The first visit I had She Crab soup and my wife and I shared a seafood trio. While the soup was good, it was not what I expected since the crab soup i have had in the north is a tomato based cajun style. The trio was very good. The fish were fresh, cooked properly and had good flavor since it was fresh. Our server was great and very helpful. Our second visit was without the dog so we sat at a regular table. My wife and I shared the largest fish boil which had crab clusters, oysters, shrimp, corn and potatoes. Except for the fact there was only a third of a piece of corn, the portion was satisfactory for the two of us to share. The fish was fresh and well prepared. The sauces on the side were good. The service was attentive. The meal can be a bit messy and maybe a bib should have been provided, but, they did give you wipes and had a roll of paper towel on the table. The Crab Shack was one of the better restaurants we ate at while in Folly Beach and highly recommend you try it.”

“A Biker bar along the beach. Yes, there are swankier more upscale bars nearby. But, they don't have the full, live bands this place has to offer. Reasonable drinks. A good band. And a place to dance.”

“Highly recommend! The tacos are so so good! Being able to mix and match tacos is the best! I would recommend the al pastor, the firecracker shrimp which has a nice kick, and the Baja Mahi and of course the street corn! Spicy marg is also very delicious!”

“I had walked past the night before and the place was packed. We went for lunch the next day. It was quiet and the food was good. I had a hamburger with a nice crisp outside. The fires were cooked just right. My wife had shrimp tacos which she was pleased with. It was one of the better eateries we went to in Folly Beach. It is dog friendly.”

“Stopped by because of the vibes. Nice dining atmosphere. They have a good mix of indoor and outdoor type of seating.Some items were great. And some of the items were ok. Seems like it can be hit or miss with their food offerings.Service was good.Tenders = 5/5Crab cakes = 3.5/5Grouper bites = 5/5”

“F those people who saying they had bad service. If you shuffled in from the beach and need a beer immediately, then walk up to the bar and ask for one... and you shall receive. Cool out. It's a good place to grab a drink (perhaps a few), take care of your appetite (hamburgers are good), and relax. Nothing fancy and not for the uptight.”

“Menu seems to be a little limited in the off season. I visited in March 2024 and was hoping for the pink whip that’s posted in the review pictures and only the yellow pineapple whip (in a cup) was available. However it was super good - cold, sweet, light, and airy.Parking: It’s on the main road into town, so you probably aren’t going to find parking right in front, but ideally you’re parking elsewhere and making a whole day of Folly.”

“It's coffee. If you like Starbucks. They proudly brew. It's on the beach. So have the barista drum up your favorite espresso drink, remove your shoes and take a walk on the beach.”

“Patrick at the bus bar was the absolute best. Fantastic bar overall. Patrick took it up another notch. If you're looking for a good time and a personable bartender loggerheads is the place. Go birds.”

“So absolutely a great great place. I loved the food the service and drinks. Honestly one of the best spots on the beach in my opinion. Would recommend to anyone Haley and jj are great managers. I had a slight mishap with a chair and the chair won but they made sure my experience was amazing. They comped my food the first day but we came back the next day just because how great this place is. 10/10 will always come again lol.”
