“Each time I come down to stay at our family’s home in Kiawah, we always end up walking down the beach to The Sanctuary’s Bar to end our evening. This year the staff was A++++. I have to give a special shoutout to Nel, Britney & Mr. Wesley for going above & beyond the entire week, each night we visited. From seeing some of us waiting in line & before we even got to the front of the line, knowing & having our drinks ready or to helping my grandmother onto our golf cart as she is handicap. They made our family have the most fun we have had in years down here in Kiawah. We look forward to being back over Easter. Thanks for everyone who took care of us throughout the week!”

“Mainly 5 stars because I came up here from the beach on my 30th birthday and they delivered with cold beer and the best Crispy Chicken Salad I’ve ever had. Crispy fried chicken, halved figs, candied pecans, hearts of palm, a delicious truffle dressing over some romaine. I mean good gawd almighty.”

“Fantastic 5 star dining experience. From the Oyster Rockefeller to the grouper and filet, you can't go wrong. Also, make sure not to miss the Mac n cheese as your side. Our waitress was top notch and the executive chef delivered our entrees to the table himself.Can't forget to mention the spectacular view of the 18th green on the famous Ocean course.This is a must stop if you're staying on or off the island and looking for a high end dinner experience.”

“You’ll be surprised how many flavors of delicious hard ice cream you’ll find! A small size in a cup is over six dollars but the service is friendly and quick. They have a couple seats inside but fill up fast. They have some clothes and other merchandise for sale too. The milkshakes are also very popular!”

“Party of 8, no one got the same meal. It wasn't crowded, and service was fast and friendly. Setting couldn't be better the area is beautiful. Food was good, a different flare to BBQ. While portions were not large, plan to spend well over a hundred dollars for two people. Overall it was a fun, warm Christmas night for BBQ.”

“I had such a good dinner here and the food was delicious. I took one star off because they don't have a separate fryer for shellfish which limits what someone with a shellfish allergy can choose from the menu. Aside from that, it's located right on the golf course and has indoor or outdoor seating. Prices are on the higher end but the quality of the food really shines.”

“Great place to grab lunch or dinner. Everything we tried was delicious and the staff is super helpful. There is couple of high chairs available and we never had problem finding place to sit. The convenience store has all the essentials.”

“Our first visit to Folly Beach and I'm so glad we found gems like Jack of Cups. The Asian fusion dishes are a nice twist but the highlight for us was the absolutely heavenly Ube cheesecake. And I like that the description says it's a 'no nonsense' place. Loved the atmosphere.”

“By far one of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch! Everything on the menu is excellent and the staff is super wonderful. I would recommend it over and over!! Love it!!!Parking: Sometimes hard to park on a busy day, you can park on center street or any of the side streets. If you have a golf cart it is easier to squeeze into a spot. If your staying on island and can walk that is perfect or ride a bike they have a bike rack also.Kid-friendliness: Lots of options with two patios and inside space to support kids .. both doggie kids and people kids”

“Lost Isle is a gem! Unique ambiance and patio / fire pit vibe pairs well with the all wood-fired menu. Open kitchen concept is fun to watch. Delicious, innovative cocktail menus and cocktails on tap. The chicken is to die for, as is the curry collards, polenta, and the whipped ricotta. My wife said one of her favorite spots in Charleston at any price! Of course, picking the right night/weather to go is crucial, as this is entirely outdoor seating. Dress appropriately. This is THE woodfired vibe in charleston (most definitely not Southbound, this is half the cost and twice a good!)”

“What a great addition to Johns Island. Jordan has an incredible knowledge of wine and terroir. The small group wine tastings are a great combination of learning, tasting wines from really small wineries, and making friendship, all accompanied by their delicious cheese plates. Can't wait to go to a wine and cigar pairing night soon.”
