“Wow! This place was great! I was driving through the area and saw this diner had wonderful reviews and decided to give it a try. I ordered a Philly steak hoagie with onion rings and an iced tea. All of it was delicious. The big stand out for this place was how nice everyone was. There were 5 ladies working the floor and behind a small counter and they were so incredibly nice to me and to each other. They created a really warm and inviting experience for me. Thank you!”

“Pooka’s kitchen is one of a kind and serves absolutely delicious food. The platinum wing sauce was unmatched, the fried fish and shrimp had the perfect crust, and the hush puppies were out of this world. God was in this dish. Great service and energy all around.”

“Been coming here for years. Its good food. Its your standard Chinese American food. Its always been well done and in a timely manner. Not sure what the other yelper means about the food...maybe an off day? I've lived out in this area for over 12 years. The food has always been consistent and I have never had any issues. Will try to update with pics. I'm just not big on taking pics of my food, since it seems to take away from the dining experience. I usually only take pics if its burnt and gross!”

“Had a great dinner last night at Saveurs du Monde Cafe Seabrook Island. Three out of four of us had the scallops and one had the branzino. All were fabulous, including the French 75s. Highly recommend.”

“We're not big fans of the muscadine and scuffinine wine, but our daughter loves to go here to see the animals. Especially looking for Ida Clare in the vineyard! It's such a nice place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the country!”

“Great light fry on the shrimp and fish. Loved the black eyed peas and red rice. My wife and I loved the Mac n cheese even though that’s not usually my thing. This will definitely be a stop on the next trip to either Charleston or Savannah.”

“Stumbled upon this gem as passing by. An authentic lowcountry experience with the most amazing food I have ever had. 100% local produce. It was the most amazing burger I have ever tasted. Tried 4 sides as a veggie plate, and I highly recommend everything! I loved how they hosted and sold the local art and produce. Loved loved loved it.”

“The girl working today was awesome! I was deciding between two sandwiches-she said she personally made the chicken salad and that it was a good batch. Sold.She presented the sandwich and was excited about the beautiful thick red tomato that has finally arrived. I was too! Just fun to see someone enjoy their job and CARE about all aspects of the product. Wish I had gotten her name. You make a Great chicken salad btw.”

Chelsea was also very responsive, pick up was super easy, and I loved the attention to detail for the packaging. We will definitely be repeat customers.”

“A nice respite from the uppity atmosphere of the area. Food’s quality is the same standard and the coffee is some of the best around. The staff are all friendly and answer any questions you have. There’s a reason locals frequently get their coffee there. I’d definitely recommend the avocado bagel sandwich.”
