“Fischer's has delicious food. I LOVE the mahi tacos (it's more like a mahi quesadilla). Great wings, grilled buffalo chicken sandwich, and tenders for the kids. The atmosphere is a locals dive bar, so just know that's what you are going to experience, but after a day on the boat and swimming we don't feel uncomfortable in this establishment. I do wish they had outdoor seating. There are times in the busy vacation season the wait times have been long.“
“I go here a good bit. Staff is always friendly and service is always great! I love when there is live music it always makes for a good time. They recently got rid of the boiled peanuts which makes me so sad because they were me and husband's favorite bar snack along with the Owl toes!“

But our meals were ready exactly when they told us (20-25 minutes) and everything was correct!Husband had the filet and I had the crab cakes which were just how I like the.- very crabby and not full of breading and mix.Would definitely return. Seemed like a laid back environment great for watching a game.Kid-friendliness: Both kids enjoyed their meals- Mac n cheese and Chicken tenders. Fries were just ok but that always happens with takeout. They were probably great when fresh. Not super reserved and formal... I'd take my kids for eat in.“

“The staff is the best, attentive and courteous, there's a terrific selection of arcade games including skee-ball, there's plenty of space for large events, and although they only have about 8 lanes there is enough room for everyone to bowl and relax comfortably. “Wonderful dining experience from start to finish. The hostess was polite. Tyler (server) explained the menu and specials right away. He checked on us in a timely manner after each course. Our desserts were delivered to us by the manager Don. It was our anniversary and everyone made sure to tell us Happy anniversary. We got the signature hot rock as our appetizer. It was delicious. My husband got the dry aged ribeye and ai got the scallops. Both were cooked perfectly. We will be back!“
“This place is classy yet informal restaurant and bar. It achieves a splendid melange of sophistication and pub atmosphere. I found the furniture and decor added class and style while the many TVs kept it relaxed. Service was fast and friendly. Portions were generous. The sidewinder fries were fun! I had the pulled pork burger and it was excellent. The sweet BBQ sauce made it delightful to enjoy with a sweet tea. If you're exploring the nearby market, this place is perfect to stop for lunch. There is also a patio and outside bar area where there's live music. The food there is great too, and the portions are worth the price. “I came in for a late Friday lunch and was greeted by the sweetest server, Brandy! She got my order taken in a timely manner and was very kind. I ordered the grilled oysters and tacos which were very tasty. The michelada was also delicious. A great way to start my weekend :)“

They were out of some of the food items but what we were able to order was good but the bar tender seemed more interested in smoking outside than serving the customers inside. We had lunch and there was no one else there except the few people sitting outside for the dj.“

“We had fish and onion rings. I had a full fish portion and wife had half portion. The onion ring were awesome and plentiful. The fish was flaky with a good crust. Tartar sauce was ok, nothing special.They had a fair selection of beer, but I expected a wider selection of local breweries (they did have a few, just not many.)The waitress rook a while to take our orders but was attentive after that.Price was reasonable for portions received.Overall, a place worth visiting if you are close but not worth an out of the way trip to eat there.“

“Uptown Social is the place to be if you are visiting Charleston! My group went on a Saturday night and it was extremely busy! There were a lot of bachelorette groups and spring break groups! The drinks are expensive but it is expected being in a tourist area. The music was great! Highly recommend if you are between the age of 21-30.“
“It's really cold inside. Food was really tasty, but my wife ordered the ham and swiss and asked for it to be wrapped, and the order came in a bun. You have to try the shrimp poor boy, really great. No menus on table, took our water order but we couldn't order. 2 other couples had the same problem. I believed that the bar was short staffed, because they were busy but the sign said seat yourself with only 2 people working the floor. Like any restaurant/bar it was loud but we didn't have to shout. Shoestring frys were great, slightly seasoned great taste, I would go back but would have my sweater.“

“If you want to watch football, this is THE place!! Lots of tvs! The bartenders are some of the best in Charleston! We went today to watch the Packers and they filled up fast. “Charleston Beer Works was the best place we have ate in Charleston in a long time! We visit Charleston frequently and the food and the service was, hands down, the best in the city! “I’m not a drinker, but I assume that part’s easy enough to get right. I was blown away by how good the cheesesteak was. A good cheesesteak sounds easy, but it isn’t most people get it completely wrong. This was a really great effort my friend really liked his salad crispy chicken. It was really delectable the french fries they nail them. Looks like they keep their menu simple do things well and price reasonably“
