Japanese Restaurants near Airdrie

“You really have to try Nojomi Sushi! In my opinion, this is the best sushi in Airdrie—and possibly the entire Calgary region. I truly mean that!

I’m originally from Vancouver, where we take great pride in our multicultural food scene and the quality and freshness of our sushi. Being nearly 1,000 km from the ocean, finding a restaurant here with food this fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared was an incredible treat.

I’ve visited Nojomi Sushi many times, and every experience has been excellent. The Japanese-Korean fusion menu is delicious, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and the care put into every dish really shows. It has officially become my new favorite restaurant, and I will definitely continue coming back!

“Just wanted to do a BIG shout out to ZENBU sushi restaurant! My boyfriend and I went there the other weekend while we were in town and they were SO GOOD. Lots of the menu can be made gluten free. You HAVE to state what you want made gluten free so that they know to make the right modifications. They even have gf soy sauce. I would definitely call this place celiac safe as they were very careful. Some of the BEST Sushi I've ever had! We will definitely be going back and I recommend you try it out. My favorite restaurant in Airdie by far!“

“The best bento box lunches we’ve had in a while! Friendly, fast, fresh and top quality, from the roasted brown rice green tea to the flaky tempura, crispy skin salmon teriyaki, perfect sticky rice, overstuffed cali rolls, fresh salad, and mild miso soup. All for under $40 with tax and pot of tea. Inviting environment and soothing music made it easy to linger after our delicious meal. What a pleasure to have Mio in our neighborhood in Airdrie.“

“We come here quite often and the lady who works there regularly is always pleasant. Today though makes me want to leave a review. I came during busy lunchtime. I expected to wait but everything was so fast from taking order to getting my meal. Once everything calmed down, the lady came out to the floor to clean tables, and she asked all customers including me how the meal was :) Who does that at fast food restaurants!! I was so impressed that I had to write a review. The food is edo, but the service is amazing!“

“The staff here are the best and always as accommodating as much as they can. Tonight we arrived 40 minutes before closing and last call for food was at 8:30pm, and even though it was close to closing time, our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Absolutely recommend to everyone who can come MUCH BEFORE 17 minutes to closing. 👀“
