really nice stampede pancake breakfast! delicious plus friendly staff
I love taking people to my favourite local haunts and this morning I met a friend from out of town, whom I hadn’t seen in decades. I never leave reviews but I had to, today. It was Stampede Breakfast Day, and that almost made me go across the parking lot, because we wanted to catch up and thought it might be too busy. The space is cute, food was good and the happy hour deals are great, but the service we experienced was egregiously lazy.
We were a group of 4 in an almost empty restaurant, yet our server rarely checked on us. We had to flag her down for drinks, and empty plates were left stacked up (we shared 6 or 7 appies) all over our table without being cleared once.
