Great service and great tacos. Came for the happy hour and was not disappointed. Avoid disappointment make a reservation.

Being in Banff was tough as so many people and elbow to elbow in most of the dining experiences, even when spending 300$ on a supper. This place was amazing we ate so much and ordered the table guac, the tequila tree, and a beautiful dish of rice and scallops... we had a hard time breathing but would drive back from Saskatchewan to eat here. Comfortable big booths and tables. 10/5!!

The food was amazing! The ambience was exciting. Our server was kind and efficient, and super friendly. The only downside side was that it was our anniversary and he offered us tequila but because I can't drink, he offered churros. I thought that was a nice gesture. Unfortunately when we received them it wasn't even a full, normal size order, it was 6 mini pieces, obviously cut shorter than the regular size. And they were undercooked. It was just a little disappointing. I think if it's an anniversary or some other celebration it should be celebrated with more enthusiasm. The Mexican way!!!!

We really enjoyed our visit here! All the staff is very friendly and so welcoming. We tried the pulled beef and crispy fish tacos. The beef tacos were really good but the fish tacos were mostly batter and not so much fish. Also had the molcajete which was also very flavorful only the chorizo was burnt in some spots. Also had the salsa and chips which they do prepare table side and it was very fresh and tasty. Overall it’s not very traditional Mexican food but it was still pretty good. Definitely recommend this spot and would visit again.

Anejo is one of our favorite places to have a meal, appe and/or beverage. Great flavors and staff. Always good. The mahi mahi tacos and table side quac are stars. Excellent today - we enjoyed both very much. Just a little surprised by the tortilla soup. Had this in many restaurants here and southern US and adopted those recipes to a family favorite we make at home. The menu describes this offering as a broth which is what I'm most accustom to. What I received was not broth. It was a thick tomato sauce situation. Tasted fine but had I known it wasn't the broth version I wouldn't have ordered it. Not my favorite.

Fresh food, great portions, not too much and not too little, fantastic staff, perfect for our group of 6 which had 2 adults and 4 kids 5 - 12 years old. Something for everyone. Lychee mocktail was my favourite, glad to see options on drinks!!

We had an incredible experience at Añejo. Our server Ruth was fun and smart and interacted with us a lot. The cucumber margarita and dragon Paloma were excellent. We loved the salsa trio appetizer and the mix and match tacos. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Highly recommend this restaurant.
