We arrived there at 1240 and they were closing at 1am. Gellie and Geraldyn provided us with an amazing service and amazing food. I’m just grateful that you have such amazing and competent staff. Even though they were closing in 15mins they gave us the same service as if we were there during day time. Just want to say thank you to them for being so professional and amazing at their job. I visited the A&W location in Banff and was deeply disappointed by the service. The staff were rude, dismissive, and showed no willingness to assist customers. From the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome. It was clear that basic service standards and customer care were not a priority at this establishment.
What made the experience even more troubling was the unprofessional conduct of the staff, which included harassment and discriminatory behavior. No customer should ever be made to feel uncomfortable or unsafe, especially in a public dining space. This kind of behavior is not only unacceptable—it reflects poorly on the brand and the management overseeing this location.
I hope A&W corporate takes these concerns seriously and investigates the culture and training at this branch. Banff is a world-renowned destination, and visitors deserve respectful, inclusive, and professional service. Until improvements are made, I cannot recommend this location to others.

I was initially excited to get some food, but had a bad experience. The little lady serving me at the front counter had a poor attitude and kept trying to argue with me, so I didn't complete my order. So glad I bought food at a local business instead of a fast food chain! Also, last time I was there they left the tables dirty even though it wasn't busy.
