Such an amazing time here, the guy who served us was soooo kind and funny and went out of his way to use a chocolate sauce I had with me (because I am vegan) so I could still have a delicious hot chocolate. :D

100% recommend over any of the overhyped main avenue coffee shops This one is peaceful, and the young man is really kind. He hand made us sandwiches for our hike and makes a great coffee! Pastries are also delicious. Will come back once we visit Banff again!!

Small, great options, made fresh, the guy running it was very friendly, knew regulars which was sweet. Was able to accommodate a peanut/nut allergy and celiac, which is very hard to find. Me and my kids loved it!

Ordered a gluten free grilled cheese (I have celiac) and upon ordering and stating my allergy the worker immediately switched gloves, cleaned the work station and even deep cleaned the panini press before putting down a baking sheet. While it took a bit of extra time to accommodate my allergies the worker was incredibly nice about it and gave chips to make up for the time.

HORRIBLE STAFF (same rude Asian lady who is mentioned in some of reviews that are a year old - Visit only if you like being insulted numerous times!
We visited at around 11am on a Monday while only 2 people were sitting on a table inside. The staff never acknowledged us. After waiting for around 5 mins, my wife asked “Hey, are you able to take our order?” The two staff members looked at each other (not at us) and went back to their respective things. Utterly confused, we asked again and this super rude Asian lady looked up and said “No!” and that’s it, no follow up. Another pretty cafe across the street with amazing coffee and baked goods got our business.
We came back to check out a plant shop inside that complex and ran into another friend couple from the UK who were sitting at a table (placed in common areas), so we sat down for a quick hello. The same rude Asian lady came out and said “Get up and leave, this is our property and only for our customers”. I mean I totally understand the property part but ALL tables inside the cafe were vacant now and our friends had bought coffee from them. At the very least, she could have requested the same thing politely.
What a sad person running this cafe into the ground. I don’t know how they’ve managed 4+ rating.

A Well Balanced Breakfast
The older woman there is extremely rude, I was a customer for months, she never smiled, was never nice, and the last stray was she refused to give me some hot water. Sad. Guy is nice but haven't seen him, think he's night. Its bitter coffee, uncleaned machines, store bought desserts. Gas stations a couple steps away, he's nice, it better, cheaper, and theres free hot water. 🤣
