I dined in on February 19th, 2024. Me and my friend were celebrating her birthday when the waitress came up and told us to “simmer down”. We were talking in a moderate way. And I felt strongly that we were not being loud. She asked us to SIMMER DOWN!!! I asked her “who suggested we simmer down?” Because I was upset we were told this. Our waitress said “a neighbouring table”. The fact that a waitress would take a neighbouring tables opinion over ours is completely unfair and ageist. We are young 21 year old females and appear to not be financially apparent. But WE WERE. The waitress completely accepted the other tables consideration into account just based on their age and financial appearance. It was my friends birthday and I feel like our experience was ruined based on the waitress and neigh-boring tables appearance of us. I paid a lot of money to eat here, and felt ridiculed for my friends personality trait. If you guys thinks you’re a 5 star restaurant and too good to have “common folk” in your restaurant, LIST THIS ON YOUR WEBSITE!!

What a beautiful little Italian restaurant. As a Sicilian, I absolutely enjoyed the authentic food, from the bread to the very light and tasty Calamari.The old fashioned was amazing!We ate the Lobster Carbonara, the sauce was perfect, pasta was a deliciously on point al dente and was an absolutely magical dish. Our service was top-notch and made the night special. Thank you for a beautiful date night.

He was exceptionally attentive and professional in every way, but also very personable and caring. He made us feel completely relaxed, and allowed us to enjoy the evening to its utmost. Castello was excellent. Food was good, fresh, tasty but not innovative or highest end relative to pricing on resort. Service was Fairmont Gold Quality. Environment pristine, wine selection excellent. Would enjoy again!

I actually ate at the Ramsay Bar which is near this restaurant and, I think, uses the same kitchen (but I'm sure, a more limited menu). I chose this place because it was quiet and cosy and I preferred the menu to that at the Rundle Bar (fyi they have entirely different cocktails so if you're not fussed about what you see at the Rundle Bar keep this place in mind). Little did I know it would fill up substantially once they opened for dinner. But it was still cosy and the service was still excellent. Very pleased with my choice - and it seemed to me that the rest of the clientele were also pleased with theirs.

Food was just okay for a fancy restaurant but it took us 3 hours.... we sat there for 1.5 hours before we saw any food. Just disappointing.
The veal dinner was very nice but huge. I wish it were more of Marcella sauce with mushrooms. I found it a little dry with the crusted cheese covering. With the heaping amount of tomato Pasta they gave you as aside it was way to much. I'm sure it would have been great after a day of hard skiing and

We had the most beautiful evening in the Ramsay Bar (bar seating of this Italian restaurant) Max and team were hot on service (Max may also have the smiliest face in Canada) and the transformation into the “thirsty reindeer” for Christmas was so special. The food was delicious and the team were flexible around my fussy daughter. The affogato was so clever, I won’t tell you the method so you get the same surprise!The only negative is the heat. It gets SO hot so if you’re visiting from another hotel wear short sleeves and layer up from there!

I had visited this restaurant a couple years ago and it was truly one of the best I have ever been to, however the menu has completely changed & is very small now. We were seated right next to other people on both sides despite the restaurant being almost empty. It was an anniversary dinner so to say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The food was ok at best.
