The steak and dessert were absolutely delicious, but the rest of the dishes were disappointing and didn’t feel cohesive at all.
I would recommend coming here just for the steak.
Considering the price point, the service didn’t quite match the standard you would expect at this price range. It felt a bit inattentive at times.
While the main dish was very satisfying on its own, the other courses and the overall service really brought down the dining experience.

We had a fantastic meal at Chuck’s Steakhouse. We chose the Best of Alberta three-course meal, which is a really great deal for the amount of food you get. The appetizers were tasty. The steaks were the real standouts, cooked perfectly and so flavourful on their own with just the provided flaky salt. We had the mud pie for dessert and, as a chocolate ice cream lover, it was a real treat. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service, though be warned that it can be a bit hard to hear each other at times with how lively and loud the room gets.

My ribeye steak was okay at best. Typically arib eye should be marble and juicy. This one not so much. That would be only complaint.

Lets say we had a nice experience here, the food is excellent, the stake came midium done, exactly as we requested it, the customer service was excellent, the lady who attend us was so kind and courteous.
Despite of this, I feel the price of the food is a little overpriced, honestly I would not pay for this again.
Also, we had a particular situation, when we arrive to the restaurant the environment was chill and I can hear the country music and talk with my wife, however in an instant a group of tourist came into the next table and they were basically screaming to comunicate each other, this was very anoying and we stop enyojing our dinner.

My husband then went out to visit our son and they went on January 23, 2026 and again had a great experience. The food was delicious. The service was great and the three course meal is a great value.

My wife and I enjoyed our experience at Chuck's Steakhouse on our first night (a Thursday) in Banff. Caleb kept our glasses full, his food recommendations were spot on, he shared his recommendations for Banff activities and he even gave us a list of other restaurants to try during our 8 days in Banff. Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the sides were good. We were too full to try a dessert.

Food, service, view, and wine list are all amazing. Best tenderloin I've had in a while. Cheese bread with bacon is a great starter. This is a premium restaurant so of course, premium prices.

Poor customer service. Waitress had a negative reaction when we asked for 5 mins to decide which dish to order. Ordered medium striploin, got medium rare instead. It was good though. Not a big deal. Asked to advise what drink to order, 0 advice. Also she had no idea what IPA beer meant. Said it is just a kind of beer. I had to ask google and chat gpt. Still believe I was too generous with $5 tip. Avoid that waitress. She has no clue what service means. BTW, $25 deposit per person is mandatory to book a table. I assume you can lose it if you don’t order anything even if service is disgusting…

Food was simply fantastic, The quality was just great. We had the Cowboy platter for $190 split between 3 people and it was the perfect amount. The ribs were my favorite aswell as that 3rd degree cocktail.
