We had their grand finale menu. The service was excellent, from the greeting by the host, to the continuous water refills, they even fold your napkin when you leave to use the restroom. The view cannot be better. Each diner was seated at the window with a beautiful view, and we didn't even have to request a seat by the window. The courses themselves were great and we left feeling full. It's actually more like 10 courses between the amuse bouche and the extra dessert and a parting gift of banana bread. Well worth the coin. It will be exciting to see what replaces Eden following the renovations but I am glad we finally got to experience it. For parking, we parked in the paid lot, got a ticket from the machine. Upon checking in for our reservation they handed us a coupon to scan while exiting the parking lot, therefore free parking.

i had the most amazing experience here! i visited here on the 15th of May. every single dish was incredible and so carefully created and presented. our server matt was the most lovely person. his care and passion for the food shone through and his attentiveness made the meal even more special. he was so good and i would return for his interactions alone. the food was so so delicious and i will be thinking about it for years to come! Fantastic dining experience. The food, views, wine pairings, and overall service were the best ive experienced. We found that the Hokkaido cream cheese was a particular standout among the dishes, although every course was fantastic.
We were helped by Matt, Rob, and Melissa, and the service was fantastic. The whole team was energetic, funny, and a delight to be around.
The only down note of the evening was we found out that the restaurant will be permanently closing on Labour Day due to renovations, which is a shame given how passionate the team is and how well the experience is curated.
A must-go while its still around!

Our server Matt made the meal extremely enjoyable and comfortableâ which is a rare thing for me. He was a pleasure to chat with and attentive. The sommelier Robert was also very kind and seemed very knowledgeable (even though we didnât get wine).
The food was amazingâ better than some Michelin star restaurants. We got the fauna menu. My partner said it was better than his $500pp Gordon Ramsey experience in London. What a gem to find in Banff! I would recommend for special occasions :)

We visited Eden for our one-year anniversary and the bottom line is that it was the hit of our time in Banff. We stayed at the Fairmont Banff Springs and visited 1883 Chop House, Grizzly House, and Sky Bistro during our stay. Sommelier Robert and Waiter Matt were both equally impressive and charismatic. My wine glass was never empty and we exchanged stories about trips and wines with Robert and his personality and excitement were hugely infectious. Matt ran off and fetched us a coffee table book with pictures and history of the Rimrock Resort after we expressed interest. His descriptions of each dish on the seven course (although I counted a few more than that!) tasting menu were sophisticated and yet he was entirely approachable and engaging in conversation. The food was nothing short of fantastic. The sauce that came with the Icelandic sole was luxurious and Matt insisted we take another basket of bread to enjoy it withâabsolutely the right maneuver. The Camembert pre-dessert was rich and interestingly sweet and savory. The Tokaji AszĂș dessert wine pairing was phenomenalâwe ordered more. We were presented an additional âtake homeâ course and received a complementary ride down the mountain to the Fairmont on conclusion. Words canât do the experience justiceâwe had an incredible time at Eden. Complements to the chef, Matt, Robert, and the rest of the team that made our anniversary such a special occasion.

We had a great time at Eden, it was our first time having a 7 course meal and we really enjoyed the experience and hanging out for 3 hours. The waiters were all lovely, especially Melissa, give her a raise! She offered to give me another dish when one dish was all mushrooms and I dislike mushrooms.
I will agree with the other reviews that the service was great but too attentive. Our table had 3 different waiters check in on us what felt like every two minutes.
My major complaint is that the waiters confidently assumed everyone's genders without asking, calling everyone miss or sir. It's 2025. They should know better, you have to use gender neutral terms. I haven't experienced that from any restaurants in years! Made the place feel a bit out of date.
No other complaints, it was lovely, we would go again. Best Pinot Grigio I've ever tasted.

We are so thankful for Nick Allard for an amazing cellar experience with beautiful wines in an intimate room inside Eden! We had some incredible tastings with a beautiful Aged Champagne, smoky white wine, a beautiful Canadian red wine from Okanagan Blue Mountain, and a delicious Bordeaux region red wine to finish. We had some amazing canapés from the chef that paired so well with the wines delivered by the chef himself in the cellar!
