This was the best meal I've had in my life. Sure, it was also one of the priciest meals I've had in my life, but honestly, it was good value for the price. The menu itself was only 6 courses, but I was given many extra courses throughout the evening, including a dessert to go. Every bite was wonderful. Dishes were not too salty or heavily spiced so the flavor of the ingredients were really able to shine out. The different flavors in each dish complemented each out well. If you have the money for a splurge meal, I would 100% recommend this over a lot of other fine dinning restaurants. The only thing that I wasn't wowed by was the view/atmosphere. The view was alright for Banff standards and for me, the atmosphere was a little too formal and too quiet for comfortable conversation.
I will definitely return the next time I am in Banff (hopefully it reopens)!

Located just outside of Banff, this 5 diamond experience does not disappoint! Staff is attentive, knowledgeable and able to assist you with whatever dining needs you may have. We never waited for drinks or water and as each dish came out we were given the story and journey of each. The view of nearby mountains is a focal point an each table is oriented around windows so you can dine with the most spectacular view. Food was delicious and each course was unique and delectable. Special attention to the lentils, king crab, and sable fish as these were table favorites (we chose the non-vegetarian course). Desert was also scrumptious and playful. Highly recommended- but make sure you reserve in advance! They are usually booked full.

Absolutely the finest dining experience of our lifetime. My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary yesterday evening, and I can honestly say that we have never been treated as warmly. The entire staff made sure that every detail of our evening was immaculate. The food and wine pairing were perfectly fused to enhance the experience. We were honored to be their guests. The view of the mountains at sunset was amazing. Our best dining experience in 40 years! Thank you for a night we will always remember!

This is one of the BEST kept secrets in Banff. As a local we have frequented Eden for our most special celebrations over the last 25 years and have never been disappointed. This last visit tops the list for overwhelming in every way. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to provide the most incredible experience for my family. We are so sad to be losing Eden and have already booked for one final visit in August. Much love to the staff of this restaurant.

The grande finale tasting menu was a celebration of a long wonderful culinary experience. Picking plates from different eras beautifully combined for a cohesive journey of flavour and styles. A fantastic meal with superb service. The Sommelier, Waiter and staff combined for 5 star service. Thank you Eden. Thank you RimRock!

Impeccable service, ambiance, and food on par with 2 Michelin star restaurants. Matt, Nick, Louis, and the rest of the staff set an incredibly high standard in my mind with how service should be - knowledgeable, welcoming, accommodating, and funny!
The kitchen produced technically sound plates - perfectly seasoned and presented. But you’ll find their true strength is in how they incorporate texture. Every item on each course serves a purpose, and we acknowledged that with clean plates returned. We were pleasantly surprised that we were full after dinner- pretty uncommon with tasting menus we’ve had before.
I intentionally did not include pictures as I think you should experience Eden’s grand finale as we did - blind, led by a powerhouse service team and kitchen, guiding you through their greatest hits and imparting their appreciation for a long-storied restaurant.
We ended up leaving with some parting gifts. Not that we needed these mementos, but we will never forget this experience. If you are in Banff before the Rimrock closes, you must go here. You will not regret it.
