After a disappointing experience elsewhere in Banff, we came to La Terrazza — and it completely turned our night around. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive.
We shared the prosciutto di Parma appetizer, followed by the lobster Alfredo and a bottle of wine. Every dish was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. We finished with dessert, which was just as impressive.
The food was outstanding, but what truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service. We felt genuinely taken care of from start to finish. La Terrazza is not only a culinary gem, but also a place where the entire experience feels special — and it’s absolutely worth the price for both the food and the atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning and recommending it to others.

Excellant Lobster Risoto and the R O S E L L I N I A L F U N G H I was the best I have eaten. The Lobster Bisque and the calamari was also very delicious. The waiter was very knowledgeable and the service was amazing.

Came in for dinner with my family and had a wonderful time. Great atmosphere and delicious meal. Flora made us feel welcome right away and was super attentive. We had the chicken parmigiana, lamb shank, pickerel, and short rib and they were all amazing. Thank you to Flora for the lovely service! We look forward to returning.

Why anyone would go to another Italian eatery in Banff is beyond me. You will not get better food, better service, and better value, that at La Terrazza.
Our meal was excellent. I had the pickerel and my husband had the steak, both were amazing. Our server Ibon was knowledgeable and prompt. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came here for my girlfriend’s birthday. She was very excited. The ambiance was quite nice and so was the service initially. I had made a request for her birthday, but no recognition was made regarding her special day. I didn’t expect it, but for a nice restaurant it would’ve been nice. I ordered a short rib, which I highly recommend it was actually quite tasty. My girlfriend had the lamb shank, which was tender, but not as flavorful. The lobster bisque ravioli we had was tasty but only had one lobster ravioli for the $20 range. So not worth it. Back to the service. The reason I rated 1 star was due to our waiter Ibor. Not only did he appear fake, but extremely unfriendly at the end of our meal. Upon asking us after our dinner if we were ready for dessert we had said Yes. He smiled And said that he will be back with some dessert menus. So we waited 5 minutes, then 10 minutes until I had to wave him down playfully joking “Hey, I thought you forgot about us?” His mood changed entirely - (a clear 180) from friendly or fake to upset. He responded” Of course not.” And then went to grab the bill in which I requested. When he brought the bill, he was silent. No asking how our dinner went or how the dinner tasted. He just put the debit/credit machine in front of us. As I proceeded to go through the tip, I accidentally made a mistake and so I apologized. Without any word he took the machine angrily with attitude and walked off without telling us what is next oh that it’s ok... He went to adjust the machine so we can add a tip and pay our bill. After I paid the bill, no words were exchanged. No thank you and no nothing. He went and grabbed our dessert and placed it on the table without no regard like he previously bestowed. I didn’t say thank you, but my girlfriend had. The fact that he didn’t say anything just displayed his character. We were quite disappointed with how the experience ended and will NOT be recommending this restaurant to others.

Slow service initially. Only 1 server on deck. Took a while just to place the initial cocktails order. Food was excellent. Server was very friendly, just should not have been stretched. Restaurant was a little dead with only 5 tables being. Again food was excellent.
