This is not real Italian food lol. The spicy rigatoni tastes like chilis, can’t taste the tomatoes at all. The Margherita pizza was ok. Texture of dough was good but pretty bland in flavor overall. The lemon pasta was so disappointing. Everything was so expensive. Super bummed. The beets were good though! Service was lovely. But overall bummed

Very nice Italian restaurant in Banff, placed very well at Wolf street, as LUPO indicates in Italian! All good, but a bit too noisy! Likely that is possible to be avoided with few changes on roof shapes and isolation!

Made this account just to rate LUPO, it was my time staying in Banff and my partner and i wanted to have a nice final dinner before flying back home. We went last year (early june 2024) the Caesar salad was insane and i still think about it til this day, we had a younger -ish server lady and she made the experience 10x better than the view even made us a latte not on the menu. we tipped good, ordered the spaghetti +spicy meatball and some pesto thing, we literally still think about it, might have to come back and get engaged and have this meal / experience again, price didnt matter, make reservations to make your life easier

We got lucky today getting into this place in Banff after being on the waitlist as they’re booked solid for days. It’s clearly a fancy, heavily invested restaurant right in the middle of town, but here’s the thing: the prices are outrageous.
Banff isn’t cheap to begin with, but $28 for a plain pasta with no protein? That’s pushing it. We added shrimp for another $12, and they brought exactly three shrimp. Yes, three.
Service was slow, food took ages, and when it arrived, it was nothing special. I’ve been to fine dining spots where you can taste the quality, see the artistry, and actually understand the price point. This wasn’t that. It’s a regular place with Instagram-worthy décor but underwhelming food.
The prices are the biggest pain point, and for very ordinary dishes, I just don’t see the value. Unless you’ve got money to burn for an average meal, I’d pass.
honestly if you are in town just go great price for amazing tasting pasta. flavour were on point as well as texture

The food was outstanding-especially the chicken Parmesan, which was hands-down the best we've ever had. The truffle fries are a must-try-crispy, flavorful, and truly unforgettable. Despite arriving an hour late due to unexpected travel delays, the staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for better service.
