Very slow. Not the staffs fault… place is severely understaffed. McDs likely not paying enough so can’t find workers. So obvious reading other reviews too.

When we ordered, we were the first (and only) order on the screen. Over time, about six more orders appeared behind us. Then our number disappeared, but our food still wasn’t called. A lot of other customers were clearly getting frustrated too.
After waiting so long that we were falling behind schedule, I asked to have our order packed to go. They charged me 25 cents for a bag, which I know is standard, but it felt pretty unreasonable considering we only needed it to go because of how long the wait was. The person after us asked for theirs to go as well and was also charged for a bag.
We ordered two Happy Meals, and they just put everything in the bag instead of giving the kids the Happy Meal boxes. They also missed sauces and the yogurt for one of the meals.
For the amount of time we waited, the food was surprisingly cold. The fries were cold and not salted. I also customized my burger with extra ingredients and didn’t get them.
The staff weren’t helpful and didn’t seem apologetic about the delays or missing items. At one point, I watched another mom and daughter wait several minutes and all they were trying to get was a bottle of water. They looked completely confused about why it was taking so long.
I’m not sure what’s going on with this location, but it’s been rough the other times we’ve been here too. If you can, I’d recommend going to A&W or choosing a different quick option in Banff.

This place is one of the worst McDonald’s in Banff . I place an order for takeaway as you can see in the receipt they give my order for dine in I requested the lady that I oder takeaway she told me pay $0.25 first I paid it she went and put a paper bag in front of me so I have to help my self for takeaway . Fries was very salty and soggy beef patty was absolutely disgusting I bet they forgot to put in grill . Absolutely not coming back to this place if craving for McDonald’s I recommend to go Canmore branch.

Was waiting 20 minutes for an apple pie which never seemed to appear, nicely asked the staff for an update to no prevail and then 5-10mins later asked for a refund so I could return home which got ignored. Gave up soon after as otherwise I would probably need to start charging them an hourly rate but blimey very poor service.
Sort it out McDonald's, I'm not angry I'm just disappointed.

How does it take 34 minutes to get a burger and fries... People who ordered more than I did 20 minutes after me got their food before me. Very disappointed in the service here, the bathrooms were also disgusting and unkempt. Not wheelchair accessible.

The bon bons were not as good as I hoped, but the cookie butter one was nice. The McDonalds in Canada are not as nice as the ones in the US in my opinion, but maybe that’s because of the locations I chose. Still has all the classic items here. Looks nice on the outside but not a lot of seating inside and very bland.
