We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the service stood out as exceptional. What impressed us even more was the beautiful Christmas decoration. The restaurant was elegantly dressed for the season, creating a cozy and festive atmosphere without feeling overwhelming. The best to be able to dine on top of the mountain although you can't see anything as its nighttime. Our server was pretty good, and I like the little courtesy of giving us a small cake to share w/ hubby for our 26th year anniversary. There were also some appetizers outside the restaurant which is nice as u can have it while waiting to be sat down. The food was a ok except for the fish and chips which is superb. The pasta looks like its ben sitting there and they aren't replenishing. And was hoping the gondola tkts can be cheaper for diners like me. But otherwise, I would come back again but this time, Ill probably come around lunchtime instead to enjoy the view while eating

I feel like I had my best Banff meal in the most unexpected place. You have to either take the gondola or hike up to the top of the mountain to get to this buffet.

Good variety of proteins and salads - and they were all delicious. Not many carb options but I’m not complaining!

The food was mediocre and there wasn't many options. You are paying for a truly amazing view and not food.

I visited here at the end of May this year as a solo traveller.
The service I received was excellent from all involved, especially my server (Lachie I think) who was happy to have a conversation on top of his duties.
The food itself was good quality and tasteful in my opinion. (Any fellow Brits out there - less options than Cosmos, but better quality).
I didn't think the price was too bad when you consider it's Banff and you're probably also paying for the experience of eating up a mountain. Personally I would incorporate the views within the price and they are incredible.

Great views. Excellent service. A bit pricey for a lunch buffet but the food was good and there was a fair variety of items. The highlights were the salmon and the brisket. On the other end of the scale, the mac and cheese was dry and bland.

Food options not as much as some other budgets you may have been to, but still there is more than enough to get stuffed. Staff very friendly. We reserved a table, but wasn't busy at all when we got there (Friday evening in October).

Spectacular views however food is just mediocre. Good variety of buffet items however we were there just shortly after opening and what should have been hot was definitely not hot! Pricey after what you pay to get up on the gondola but of course this is all geared to tourists! The young people working here are all friendly but don't expect an 18% plus tip for simply clearing plates off the table.
