I ordered the special pho B6 and it was soooo good! Idk why this resto has lotsa bad reviews and only 3.4 total ratings. 2 servers were both so nice and pleasant and served our food quick. They can maybe improve the atmosphere by putting some music but that’s just me hehe 🤭

I did not enjoy the pho. The broth was very bland. No particular taste, watered down. I didn't even want to finish it, even though I was starving when I came in. The onion cakes were absolute nasty 😳 🤧
They felt like crusty paper. No taste of onion.... I wouldn't got here again.
I am a huge pho fan by the way.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food did not meet expectations — the taste was average and the presentation was very basic. The service was slow and the staff were not very attentive. The atmosphere also wasn’t inviting. For the price, I expected much better quality. I won’t be coming back.

Place is spacious. We ordered a Seafood and Well Done Beef Pho and tastes delicious. It has a big serving. Also, we added Bubble Tea and we liked it! Good food for the cold weather.

Had a delightful experience trying this pho spot. Friendly staff and a solid menu with plenty of good options. Perfect for a quick, hearty bowl of soup on a cold day. Tasty food, good service, and fair prices. 🍲🏔️ ^__^

Severely underrated. Crazy good pho, great efficient service and the Vietnamese iced coffee will undo all the damage done the night before.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food and staff are good, but the owner doesn't want to give a discount to locals. Like we owe him money. He is very rude, not friendly to the Banff locals.

Uh don’t go here. Had to add an insane amount of salt and siracha for both dishes ordered. Chicken tasted like just spoonfuls of honey. Waiter interacted with us once to grab our order and that’s it (we had to flag her down). Definitely banking on unknowledgeable tourists coming from out of town and never again

Pretty disappointed with this spot. I got the bún bò huế and it had no flavor at all — the broth was just warm and really bland. Definitely not what I expected. Wouldn’t recommend this place. This is NOT vietnamese food.
Great Food, Quiet Atmosphere and Friendly Staff, good place to try in banff

My visit to this Vietnamese restaurant was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and filled with the comforting aroma of fresh herbs, simmering broth, and sizzling street-style dishes. The staff greeted me with friendly smiles and made me feel right at home, offering great recommendations that truly showcased the restaurant’s specialties.
I ordered the Pho Deluxe and the Calamari Fries, and both were incredible. The Pho Deluxe came steaming hot with a rich, aromatic broth that was deeply flavorful yet perfectly balanced — not too salty, not too heavy. The beef was tender and thinly sliced, and the noodles were silky smooth. What made it exceptional was the freshness of the herbs — Thai basil, bean sprouts, lime, and chili — adding that classic, refreshing punch that makes Vietnamese pho so special. Every spoonful felt like comfort in a bowl.
The Calamari Fries were an unexpected surprise — light, crispy, and seasoned beautifully. The texture was perfect: crunchy on the outside and tender inside, without a hint of greasiness. They came with a flavorful dipping sauce that paired wonderfully with the delicate taste of the squid.
Everything was beautifully plated, portions were generous, and the service was quick even during busy hours. You can tell the chefs take real pride in their cooking, blending traditional recipes with a touch of modern presentation.
Overall, this restaurant delivers authentic Vietnamese comfort food with a touch of elegance. Whether you’re a pho lover or just discovering Vietnamese cuisine, this place deserves a visit. I’ll definitely be back for another bowl of Pho Deluxe — and maybe a second order of those irresistible Calamari Fries!
