The service is very good and the coffee tastes much better than other coffee shops in Banff. In particular, the Korean woman who served us was really kind.

We had an exceptional dining experience, perfectly presented and palate pleasing. Views of the valley complimented the dining room feeling of openness and beauty. Given the opportunity, I highly recommend giving Eden a try.
Matt and Robert looked after us amazingly well. Robert produced wine after wine to match the food that Matt produced, both with a story about the provenance and thoughts behind the menu.
Matt (server) and Julien (sommelier) took fantastic care of us! Such a special, personal experience. Everything was top notch—food, presentation, service, views, ambience. The perfect anniversary celebration.
I have been dining at Eden through the years. This time, it has been an unpleasant experience, starting with having to wait for half an hour despite tables being available. Granted we were early, but to be denied of being seated for half hour is truly unacceptable for a top rated restaurant. The service overall does not match the service I have received over the years. In all fairness, the food is still very good.
The food and service was nothing short of spectacular. Haley, our server, and Jeremy, our sommelier, were fantastic. We had the Reverie dinner option, and I added the wine pairing. My husband decided not to do the pairing and instead opted for a bottle of wine. Beautiful, creative, amazing taste and wonderful views! We were celebrating our 60th birthday's and the team made it extra special. Well worth the price!
The dining experience at Eden was sublime! Food was creative and fantastic and service excellent. Much better experience than the night before at the steak restaurant at the Fairmont in Banff. This was a five star experience all around.
My husband and I were visiting Banff from California. We commonly enjoy fine dining experiences, however this was hands down the best dining experience we have ever had! Everything about this dining experience was five stars. The venue and view were beautiful. The staff (from the servers to the hostess to the sommelier) were so kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. And the quality and flavor of the food was absolutely incredible. Thank you so much Eden for the stunning and memorable evening!
This is an exquisite restaurant that presents its multi-course pre-fixe dinners with pride and professionalism. The food is perfectly crafted both to please the palate and to dazzle the eye. This is an experience in which very visitor to Banff must indulge, both for the cuisine and for the manner in which the sophisticated waitstaff professionals turn a meal into a memorable evening.
One of the best dining experience I've had. First of all, the service was top notch from the start to the end. Eden really thought about every single aspect of the experience, from bringing out congratulatory messages from the staff to having your car ready right after your meal ends. The food here was nothing short of amazing. They were able to take key components of classic dishes and deconstruct its flavor to make a whole different entree but keeping the main flavor profile. The quality of the ingredients also tasted very fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Banff and is looking for a memorable meal.

We love going out to dinner and enjoying a wonderful meal - but what we love even more is experiencing the discovery of a truly memorable dining experience - and our evening at Eden was exactly that. We are still wondering why it took us so long to discover this amazing restaurant nestled in the Rockies. Where has it been hiding? Why has it taken us so long to find it? Why haven't we heard about it before? We are not strangers to Banff but ... ? We opted for the chef's 4-course Reverie menu, and although we weren't initially going to do the wine pairing, we changed our minds and were very glad we did. From start to finish we enjoyed every bite and every accompanying glass - it was nothing short of wonderful and that's something I don't say lightly. I may love and evening out somewhere or love a dish I've had, but our dinner at Eden was truly exceptional. The food was beautifully thought out and so creative in its presentations and flavours. We really hated to have the evening come to a close. And the service was outstanding - special kudos to Nick and Matt for being so attentive and informative to our every need and many questions. We also especially appreciated Nick and Matt's gentle reminders that the real genius of the evening went to all the people in the kitchen behind the scenes who were making the magic - a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you. Apparently Eden is the only CAA/AAA Five Diamond award winning restaurant in Western Canada - and we say well-deserved! Perhaps the Alberta Tourist Board and Accor and Banff should conspire together to bring a brighter national/international spotlight on Eden - did someone say Michelin? Many thanks again - we'll be back.
The location is stunning and we were seated by a window, although my seat was a bit obstructed. Paula, our server, was very sweet and attentive. That said, we were a bit disappointed with the food for such an upscale restaurant. Our salad took over 30 minutes from ordering to arrive and was good but nothing special. And, the “medium-well” ribeye steaks were actually overcooked.
The service was excellent. Present but not hovering. Knowledgeable on the food. Our sommelier was extremely well versed on his wines and regions. The pricing was very reasonable. We would go back again and recommend to family and friends.
The food was creative and service was friendly. What was frustrating was that the bottle of wine we wanted (listed for 59 CAD in the same hotel at the restaurant upstairs) was 75 CAD on the menu posted outside Primrose and a whopping 98 CAD on the menu we received at our table.
A staff member named Na-yeon guided us to the food that had just been served and was very friendly. She also guided us to the front desk for us in need, and we were able to solve our problems because of this. Coffee was the best I've ever had on a trip to Canada, and my son enjoyed a fresh sandwich.
