Great night out in Banff for wings and beers...and old fashioned!! Band starts at 10pm and does not disappoint! Good place to hang with friends and drink lol! Great crowd on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday...easy going ...and dance like nobody's watching :-)

We orderd drinks and 6 sliders, moved tables 37 times, put on wigs, played musical chairs, and they STILLcouldent get it right. Terrible place, smelled like roses looked like a fart. Wait holdup, our sliders just arrived, dude was super nice and had a killer top knot. Will most deffos be back

When we arrived at Rose & Crown, we were left waiting for a long time while multiple staff members walked past us without acknowledging us or making eye contact. When I finally managed to get someone’s attention and told her we had a booking, I was told “it should be around the back” with no explanation or offer of assistance.
We walked around the back with our group of nine and saw that our table clearly had a reserved sign on it, yet other people were seated there. After they left, we sat down to find the table covered in empty glasses and beer cans.
I politely asked a staff member (wearing a green flannel-style shirt with shoulder-length dark brown hair) if the table could be cleared. Her response was abrupt and dismissive. She questioned whether I was “with that group” and whether it was the reservation, then said nothing further. When I quietly asked again if someone could please clear the table, she sharply replied, “Yeah, I’ll get to it.”
When she came over, she slammed the empty glasses onto her tray directly in front of my friends and family and began wiping the table. My partner tried to ease the situation by saying it was fine, and she responded with a curt “well,” which made the interaction feel tense and uncomfortable. She then wiped the table directly in front of me and walked away.
Afterwards, my partner noticed her speaking with other staff members and repeatedly looking over at our table. When other waiters came over later, their tone toward me was also abrupt, which made it feel as though the situation had been discussed among staff.
I felt embarrassed and extremely uncomfortable in front of my friends, my partner, and family visiting from Australia. I had been at work all day and was really looking forward to this, and the experience ended with me in tears.
I understand hospitality can be busy, but ignoring guests, mishandling reservations, and treating people with hostility is unacceptable. Unfortunately, the service at the start completely overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable evening.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously, as no guest should be made to feel this way.

Terrible service waiter brought me the bill 3 times and it was wrong every time. The ceaser are to spicy and just taste like spicy clam. Would not recommend to anyone travelling to Banff.

If you like flat-roofed estate pubs in the UK, you'll love the atmosphere in here. We walked in, avoided the crowd of loud and drunk ski chavs, and walked out again. Shame as there was live music setting up which was the attraction for us. Absolutely not for us so we went over the road to Tommy's

We were in Banff for the day just walking around looking in the stores. Was a rainy day, stopped for lunch here. Had a grown up grilled cheese sandwich and fries. Was so good! Great little pub, live music later on, they were just setting up. Service was excellent! Thank you!
