Our server, Jerome, contributed a lot to the experience. He was attentive throughout the meal and offered thoughtful recommendations, both for the food and for things to do in the area. His suggestions were helpful and came across as sincere rather than scripted.

29 NOV 25 - We came to the top of the mountain to have a celebratory lunch for our Anniversary. The views were to die for, the food was delectable, and the staff was over the top hospitable. They were swamped with people trying to dine and maintained their professionalism getting us seated and were able to fulfill our request for a window table. Jerome, our waiter, was beyond kind and attentive. Thank you for making our experience a memorable one!

I wanted to start off saying that banff so far has been amazing. Not even one issue. The gondola ride honestly at first was a bit scary for me but having my wife with me was the help I needed. once we got up we went to sky bistro and it wasn’t packed at all we had a reservation made a month ago. Surprisingly we got seated in such a perfect spot that from the reviews I thought they would give special people those seats. The waiter nakita was amazing she knew exactly how to do her job. We got some drinks to start off with and then got our food and to be honest from the word bistro I wasn’t expecting the food to be that amazing straight from a 5 star restaurant or even a Michelin star restaurant. I got the bison tenderloin with that Paris butter which was amazing also got the truffle Parmesan potatoes and my wife got lam chops and brussels sprouts The Whole experience was exceptional.

He was extremely personable and went above and beyond to answer any of our questions. The presentation and taste of the food was phenomenal. Kudos to the chef(s) for creating vegan choices that were not only original but a beautiful combination of flavors.

We had a beautiful meal on our honeymoon! We had a fabulous waitress. We received complimentary champagne when she heard it was our honeymoon, and also a complimentary dessert for the delay in our food coming out. We enjoyed our meals thoroughly, the atmosphere and the location of course. 10/10.

Spectacular from beginning to end! We were warmly greeted and cared for by attentive staff. Abbey was a phenomenal server with great recommendations and a superb wine choice. The atmosphere was festive and bright with unforgettable views. Food was presented with precision and every bite was incredible. We especially recommend the venison tartar to start, the Alberta braised short rib main and brown butter tart to finish. Thank you, Chef Kurtis!
