Dietary requirements were met with understanding, she compromised with non drinkers and made educated suggestions with the menu. Also went out of her way for a celebration (birthday)
She was attentive even though it was their busiest time of the night and juggled multiple tables with ease.

The food was great but the experience was terrible because of our server. I think her name was Nicky. She kept rolling her while we were ordering then got my husband’s order wrong. And we had to wait a long time for it to come. We didn’t even get to try any dessert because she seems annoyed with us so we just left. It would have been a great experience if we got a better service.

We came for Valentine's Day dinner and had a wonderful time. We had the tartare and brussel sprouts to start, and we both had the Alpine Rancher. The food was incredible and portion sizes were reasonable. Our server Lisa truly went above and beyond for us, and this elevated our experience to the next level. Definitely recommend for dinner, and congratulations to the couple beside us that got engaged during our meal!

The restaurant is below average. Food is below average. I booked this place a month ago for my birthday and specifically requested the 2 seats with the view. Upon arrival they mentioned its first come first serve which i understand and the seats were full. I requested I would wait for the table but they denied informing they have more reservations coming which I realized was a lie cause an hour later the restaurant was empty. How can a restaurant who specifically markets on internet informing its a sky view restaurant and spoils the special experience. Its not that food was cheap, it's an expensive restaurant but below average food and tastes below average. I would never recommend this place.

Sky Bistro in Banff is an unforgettable experience. The mountain views are breathtaking and set the tone before the food even arrives. Service is warm and attentive and the dishes are beautifully prepared with great flavour. Perfect for a special occasion or date night and absolutely worth the gondola ride.

Obviously, the views were the best part of this experience. I could eat burnt toast here and be happy just being surrounded by the gorgeous landscape.
The food was delicious.
The lamb chop was cooked perfectly, and went well with the bacon berry jam, as suggested by my server Natasha (hands-down your best employee btw).
The garlic mushrooms were good too, but I would suggest serving them on a hot stone plate so they maintain their temperature longer.
The chocolate pistachio brownie thing was ok. Wouldn't order it again though.

Bison steak very overdone, boar bacon came out like jerky. it felt like nothing was seasoned or salted. Food was very bland and disappointing but the service was great. Cocktails were lovely. abbey was very knowledgeable and great at her job. Super personable.
