What a delicious, friendly and beautiful stop on our Canadian journey. Haley was fantastic and even wrote a list for us of her faves in Banff & Jasper! Definitely recommend and the view is incredible!

Stanley's Clubhouse at the Banff Springs Golf Course is an absolute hidden gem. We went on a Tuesday evening around 6:15 in August and were shocked to be the only ones dining there, especially given how amazing everything was. The food was delicious, the ambiance relaxing, the service outstanding, and the prices very reasonable. We also had a beautiful view of the 18th hole, which made the experience even more special. If you're looking for a quiet, scenic spot to enjoy a meal away from the crowds, this place is well worth it! 🌟

We wanted to see the golf course and enjoyed that. The food was just ok and it was not very busy. Our waiter was very nice and it is a good place to catch a bite after golf.

Gemma, our waitress, was so friendly! We were sharing a burger and they split it for us! Awesome service. The Alberta beef burger was delicious. Plus it was fun watching golfers finish up their rounds outside.

What a beautiful setting for a restaurant. The service was awesome. Our server Sophie was so nice & provided excellent service. I would highly recommend this gem away from the hustle & bustle of the hotel

The view is picturesque. We can see the rockies and the river. But the place is sure hard to find. The greeter upon driving to the restaurant, he was super friendly.

We had a work breakfast and the beautiful location set a warm and welcoming tone for our guests. We all enjoyed our meals and experience.

Service was good, but the food was mediocre at best. Had the 3 choice platter with pulled pork, ribs and brisket along with sides of mac and cheese, beans and spoon bread. The pulled pork was absolutely swimming in bbq sauce (so much that I couldnt really tell it was pork), the brisket was dry, and the ribs were coated in so much black pepper that pepper was all I could taste. There was little to no smoke flavor in any of it. The mac and cheese and spoonbread were very good, but the beans were so undercooked they were inedible. We really expected more from somewhere that is a world class golf course. Unfortunately, we won't be returning... it was disappointing.

Amazing!! I don't understand why this restaurant doesn't get more traffic. Perhaps because it's affiliated with the Banff Resort golf course and is out of the way? Either way, it has the best views in all of Banff, it's got almost 360 degree windows all around, sitting right in the middle of a gorgeous golf course with plenty of wildlife grazing around. I had pulled pork entree, which easily was the best pulled pork I've ever had. It literally exploded in your mouth:) David the server was extremely helpful and friendly, he made great suggestions for the sides, and was a great conversationalist. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

This restaurant was difficult to locate. It is located off the main road at the clubhouse of the golf course at Banff Springs Resort/Hotel. The views from the restaurant are spectacular! The condition of the furniture (chairs, tables) was appalling for such a facility. It all looked and felt old and worn. The food was average. We ordered the brisket and it was good. The baked beans were crunchy and the cole slaw, meh. The grits were lumpy. They graciously adjusted the price for the meal. The service was excellent. This could be a fabulous place, but needs someone to come in and redo the furniture and work on improving the authenticity of the "smokehouse" cuisine.

Staying a the Fairmont Banff Spring Hotel, a dinner group size grew to 8 guests and in hotel restaurants could not seat us until very late. A second option by the concierge to use the provided hotel shuttle to take us to their golf course restaurant for dinner was agreed to. Ample menu selection from salads to main course dinners, in a casual setting. We chose to sit outside, overlooking the golf course, rather than the first offered parking lot view looking into the setting sun. A cool evening was made comfortable with provided blankets, the Fairmont difference. We were well entertained by watching golfers approach the green and putt, but we’re amazed by the visit of elk to the courses. Oh, the food and service was great!!! Ample portions and great flavors with all the selections ordered. Brisket was especially moist, tender and flavorful. A return visit will be a requirement during our stay.

Not impressed. Simply does not reflect the same standards as the other Fairmont Banff Springs facilities. Not a smokehouse but a golf course snack bar at best. If your going to call it a smokehouse then do it right! Ribs were stale, tasted like frozen reheated then covered with sub par bbq sauce to mask the taste. To put things in perspective, the best part of my plate were the institutional food service quality frozen waffle fries.
