We only go here to eat sushi when in Banff. You can choose fancier places in town but when it comes to good sushi this is place to go. Service was also very good. Our server was very nice. We had to go to a place where someone with celiac can eat and this place is great. They have it on the order. The chef receives the order with all allergens on it. It is also very quiet so it is very nice if you like a relaxed conversation while having lunch or dinner.
Overall, everything is very pricey. We ordered a giant white tuna & avocado roll for $17.95 and a small/regular salmon avocado roll for $6.75. The fish portion in the giant roll was almost the same as for the small/regular rolls. I think it's a rip off considering the price we paid for the giant roll. We also had the yellowtail sashimi. They came in 5 pieces that were poorly sliced. They were thin and not portioned equally. There were 2 pieces that were half sized of...
I have to say we absolutely loved this place. This review was long overdue, but here it is. We visited to days in a row. The food was very fresh, and the drinks, everything tasted so good. We ordered the salmon donburi and different rolls. We ordered with lots of specifications and the server moona (not sure if I’m spelling correctly) made sure every order was right. She was such a light, the service was so amazing. We even chatted with her for a while.
