$30 for Cauliflower, $22 for Carrots ? .... Prices are absurd. Food just ok. Staff just ok
Wonderful experience. The gooseberry brie, beetroot falafels and the steelhead trout were incredible. The service was a delight and the views are spectacular.
We really enjoyed our time at Juniper Bistro-as always! The server was exceptional! Leo! We tried to sit on the patio on this lovely evening, but the wind gusts came up and our server helped move us back inside. He was extremely attentive, charming, and easy-going. The food was exceptional and each of us enjoyed our dishes! (Trout, and Prairie Chicken). I also loved my desert (chocolate and peach). This was a last time at Juniper for my neighbor who is moving permanently from Canmore to Victoria. She will so miss Juniper! I of course, will be back!
Amazing!! The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. The view was the cherry on top!
We walked there. We could not find the pedestrian way. Crossing the metal bars is quite dangerous. We almost gave up.
I stayed one night for a great price and we were treated the best! Such a cute boutique hotel with great amenities. Bar/restaurant was nice and we got upgraded to the mountain view room. Would definitely stay again!
I went there for dinner and I had the salmon and the roasted half chicken. The salmon was just fine, the sauce was plain but the salmon was perfectly cooked, though the chicken is terrible, it was so dry on the outside but raw in the inside, and the sauce was too rich which made the whole dish a bit too salty. Probably won’t go back.

We had mimosas and the sweet potato soup and it was lovely. The view of the mountains is the real seller though, stunning!
Awesome experience, can't wait to come back!🤗

Can't say enough great things about the bistro. Views are serene, service was attentive and excellent, and food was great. I had the root veggie cast iron roast (forgetting name), and it was outstanding. Underlying white bean hummus was delicious, the vegetables were perfectly cooked and seasoned well with paprika, and the crunchy poached egg was a fun, tasty topping. My wife's quesadilla was solid but not amazing. Would come again. Came at lunch mid week in February and was empty

We ate at several nice places in Banff and this was the best. Food was amazing and the service was great as well. The espresso martini’s are the best I’ve ever had! The short-rib eggs Benedict and salmon were just amazing as well.

After 5 years of coming to this restaurant during my family trips to the mountains in addition to my wife & son who came for nearly 10 years.
We have decided we will no longer return, a combination of inflating pricing which is understandable but in combination with poor portioning, over seasoned food & repeated bad service on more than one occasion.
The fluctuating service & quality standards considering the rather small venue size really is disappointing.
This restaurant represents to us a blissful, luxurious, cozy oasis in the mountains, so expectations are high when you couple this with the price increases.
Managers need to hammer down on maintaining consistently exceptional service & quality standards for this place to be an option to us again.
I will say the food itself is very good when they do perform as expected, but when service and food falls short it really is a kick in the butt & makes being here a regretful experience.
Come once for the view & atmosphere without hesitation but then be sure to judge your experience as a customer following this to decide if they deserve your money.

The view is spectacular as I imagine it would be any time of the year. The service was great; Jeremy was pleasant and very welcoming and hospitable. It is a charming and inviting bistro.
I was looking forward to trying their signature bennies. The Braised Alberta Short-Rib was recommended but failed to deliver. The hollandaise was skimpy and congealed, the prime-rib mushy and the flat bread greasy. The bison sausage ordered as an extra side was delivered as a sole log on a side plate, very visually unappealing! However the bison sausage was quite tasty! I would recommend re-considering the presentation.
