Unfriendly staff, no hello, no goodbye, hardly any choice, ingredients that are not in the description, one coffee was hot, the other was only lukewarm, unpleasant atmosphere and dirty. The prices were also extreme. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience :-(

Great coffee, although, they ran out of milk and plates upon ordering. we all ordered a different item on the menu and the food was frozen in the centre, so it wasn’t really a great experience all round.

Fantastic. There was variation in the espresso drinks between baristas and I’m of the opinion that cappuccinos should be 8 oz, but … it was all delicious. Go early and get something fresh out of the oven.
I think I have high standards, but went 4 times, and simply don’t understand the bad reviews.

Went here twice this weekend, first we bought their creamy earl grey tea, it was okay. Second time, we ordered the ham and cheese panini, my mom said it was good. I ordered the Sourdough BLT, it was the toughest sandwich I every had. I also had the Mocha with Oat Milk, now good thing this was good. Service was good, we were also kind of hoping to see more bread or pastry options but there was not a lot when we went twice. Overall, it was an okay experience.

I love the Uprising in Canmore, and usually find the staff and drinks to be top notch; however, today’s experience will probably deter me for awhile. First of all, I ordered an oat Matcha latte, and received a dairy Matcha latte. Secondly, the attitude from the baristas was beyond the appropriate sass level, and trust me I love some sass, but this ass was just so disheartening, and actually ruined my day.

Very friendly service, excellent coffee and the blueberry Danish was literally the best pastry my boyfriend and I have had to date. Highly recommend and really enjoyed the fun and upbeat music playing too.

I feel terrible for leaving a bad review, but my son and I had an almond croissant and a blueberry cruffin. We both have a sweet tooth. We're both open-minded. But honestly, they were both terrible. Dry and tasteless at best. No way they weren't at least 2-3 days old. And to make it worse, it was a little over $15!! I know Banff is touristy, but come on.
Hope the owner takes these reviews seriously to improve!

Delicious pastries and amazing staff! I couldn't decide between two options, so he gave me the other one on the house out of nowhere after I'd paid for the one I landed on! Both were to die for, thanks again! We also enjoyed our latte and mocha:)

Possibly the worst almond croissant & cruffin we’ve ever had, AND the most expensive. Over $15 for 2 dry, flavourless pastries is ridiculous. We won’t be back.

Walked in early in the day to an employee sitting at the counter having breakfast. The baked goods looked unique they sold something called a cuffing ( an crosaint / muffin hybrid). These were aesthetical pleasing but upon trying to eat this cuffing it was incredibly hard and dry.

Sold me a day old croissant that was hard as a rock. Don't waste your time or money here, go to Wild Flour Bakery instead.
