I think we were lucky with our server. She was great and service efficient for a mid tier restaurant. We did however witness others not experiencing the same. It's Tony Roma's, not the Banff Springs Hotel, with the right perspective you will likely get what you expect.
I had an incredible experience at Tony Romas. Initially, I had ordered a well-done steak and it came back medium-rare. Upon telling the server, she profusely apologized and worked with the manager to rectify the situation immediately. They provided a snack and an extra drink while I waited the extra time and I was visited by the manager and chef, apologizing again. My final bill was discounted greatly. What could have been a very disappointing experience turned out to be a highlight...
Had a great meal, the ribs are also always good, the restaurant is very clean and friendly. We were vacationing in Banff and it was in a great location with very efficient and friendly staff....also want to thank them for arranging our souvenir Banff glass, it was a nice touch!
