My second time at Yans. Just as bad as the first time. Ordered chicken, rice and veggies. Chicken chunks served on the rice were flavorless and dry. Rice had no flavor, veg was ok. Not going back, don't recommend.

You want some good food without spending an arm and a leg? Yan's the place to go. The fried rice is off the hook and the fried chicken is authentic HK style. Rivalling Vancouver/Toronto being some of the best. This place is a hidden gem in Banff. I guaranteed you wouldn't be disappointed and if you are, this isnt you're type of food. This will hit the spot after a day of exploring. The food does take a while to come out but the chef makes it on the spot. Who wouldnt want it that way anyways?! We found this spot by luck and feeling bless to have tried Yan's cooking. Yan's the Man!

May 2025: Coming to Banff for the first time, I found myself in this food court and decided to go to Yan's. The food was amazing - large portion, freshly made, very tasty, very reasonably priced, friendly and kindly service. The next day, instead of trying some other place, I just wanted to go back to Yan's, which I already tested and trusted. I hardly write reviews but I just thought I should give a shout out to this beautiful place.

Yan's Bistro in Banff is a post-hike haven! Ann and Pat provided fantastic service. The rich Beef Noodle Soup and flavorful Gen Tso's Chicken were exactly what we needed after exploring Banff National Park. Delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service make Yan's a must-try. Highly recommend!

The food is so delicious. I ordered Special #1( 12 Shrimps, veggies, fried rice) and Curry chicken fried rice! They are amazing. Curry is kids-friendly as it’s not spicy at all. However, it doesn’t come with any potatoes! The fried rice is wonderfully cooked! Less than $30 in total.
