Portions are generous, but it was the worst orange chicken I've ever tried; i couldn't even finished it. The waiting is longer bc the cashier also prepares the food (which was kinda cool tbh, but i was in a hurry). The service wasn't great, he gave me a plate of food without the food tray and was kinda rude. Worst part is i got diarrhea. So, in my experience, i paid for terrible flavor, bad service and to get stomach ill. I regret buying the food here and wouldn't recommend it at all.

My second time at Yans. Just as bad as the first time. Ordered chicken, rice and veggies. Chicken chunks served on the rice were flavorless and dry. Rice had no flavor, veg was ok. Not going back, don't recommend.

You want some good food without spending an arm and a leg? Yan's the place to go. The fried rice is off the hook and the fried chicken is authentic HK style. Rivalling Vancouver/Toronto being some of the best. This place is a hidden gem in Banff. I guaranteed you wouldn't be disappointed and if you are, this isnt you're type of food. This will hit the spot after a day of exploring. The food does take a while to come out but the chef makes it on the spot. Who wouldnt want it that way anyways?! We found this spot by luck and feeling bless to have tried Yan's cooking. Yan's the Man!
