Recommended! Rimbey is fortunate to have a restaurant like this. The food is excellent. We recently went to a Chinese restaurant in Edmonton that we were told was one of the best; it was very popular (busy), but we thought Happy Valley’s food was better.
The proprietors, Mae and John, get to know their customers by name. Mae’s Chinese accent sometimes requires a careful ear for full understanding, but she is a friendly, open and generous individual.

We stayed next door and ordered by phone to pick up the food. It was hot and the portions were generous. They seemed busy but the wait was worth it.
