Took my girlfriend here on a date & she got food poisoning.
I don't want this to be a hateful review because the server was very kind and much of the food was very tasty (particularly the Salmon Sashimi & the dessert table) so we did enjoy the first half of our visit- but if something that your date eats (we suspect the shrimp) makes her loose the rest of what she ate in the washroom it will overshadow the rest of your experience and diminish one's opinion of the establishment...
first time was amazing, staff was very nice, checking to see if we need anything,
now the food, wow, fresh flavourful, and waiter making sure everything was topped up, I recommend this restaurant 10/10
Venturing to A+ Sushi Buffet for a celebratory outing, the anticipation was high as we marked a special birthday for my husband among close friends. A+ Buffet Sushi Bar is a great Asian buffet in Calgary with very reasonable prices. The food and service have been great overall. The food is fresh, flavourful, and constantly refilled, with a wide selection. The best dishes are the steamed fish, chicken wings, stir fried broccoli, coconut sago milk dessert, and the kung fu panda meal with pose balls and general salad chicken. The interior is modern, clean, and nicely designed, creating a comfortable atmosphere. Staff are friendly, polite, welcoming, and always checking to see if anything is needed. The restaurant offers excellent value for money. One suggestion is to be mindful of loud cleanup noises before closing, as repeated balloon popping from a celebration event can be startling for guests sensitive to loud noises.
