Incredible Pizza Place that offers all gluten free products and sensitive to most allergies. This place is a real gem in the city. In addition to their pizza try their amazing gluten free chicken fingers, you won't be able to tell the difference from a pub or regular restaurant. My wife and I came here 3 times in the last week.

What an amazing restaurant with high quality, safely prepared gluten free delicious food and the best service as well! My husband and I will be making sure to visit from Cochrane again. We came across Avatara by chance through a Google search of 'vegan restaurant near me'. We were in Shawnessy for a couple appointments, and are unfamiliar with the south side of Calgary. Anyway, we arrived at lunch time, and it was pretty quiet. We ordered the Crusty Cowboy, made vegan. It was absolutely delicious. The owner gave personal service and was happy to discuss their made from scratch gluten-free crust. Loved the chili lime BBQ sauce as the base of the pizza. Toppings were plentiful and flavours were fantastic. Love that the ingredients are organic and sustainably grown. This place rocked! Best gluten free pizza crust we have ever had, and everything in the restaurant is gluten free so there was no risk of cross contamination. Our server was also awesome. Overall an incredible experience!!
I have never ordered from Avatara before until recently 2 weeks ago. We did take-out but I will try having a meal sometime in their cozy kitchen! We ordered 2 large pizza's, one Pepperoni and one Vegetarian, which were both extremely tasty ? I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a real change in how they eat pizza ? Thank you Avatara for our first time experience that was simply Awesome ?
