When the owner still worked there, whenever I’m in the area I would buy a few banh mi, it was my favourite place to get banh mi in the city. It would have been easily 5 stars. Nowadays I barely come since the quality went down. Every time I ask for extra mayo, they give me less. Yesterday I had to throw a couple banh mi out because it had a gross aftertaste to it, almost like a some kind of cleaning detergent or perfume. Every time I took a bite it would hit me and I would want to gag. Something was off, just don’t know what it was. Could be contaminated when making the mayo or carrots, cause both subs were like that. Hope this review helps because I would like to come back and try again when there’s more quality control.
Update : that after taste was definitely soap. Washed my hands today and put it by my nose and smells like what I tasted.

Best Banh Mi place in Calgary. I will drive half way across the city just to get their Banh Mi. The golden baguette is crispy on the outside, warm and soft on the inside and I believe, freshly made there. The pate is packed full of flavor and the creaminess of the they mayo dances on the tongue like a ballerina on the opening stage of life. The carrots and diakon, cilantro, cucumber and onions add a fresh crisp for each bite. For those who like spice, ask for extra jalapenos and a dash of soy sauce to elevate your food-gasmic experience

I have stopped coming here for awhile, everytime i dropped by i saw the price has increased but the quality is not worth the price. They have added to much pickle carrots instead. I would rather go somewhere else to get better quality which worth what I pay for.
Great food! Great service! Easy parking! They told us they were changing location which is great so there's more room for seating. We'll come back. Thank you.

Love this place for subs! So many options and for the most part, authentic and traditional. We ordered a cold cut (ham, pork and head cheese) and a cold cut (pork and head cheese) with shredded pork and extra veggies. Prices are reasonable. My only criticism is that they use jalapeños rather than red chilis. They also offer catering and a small selection of appetizers to enjoy at home.
