Delicious Japanese food and well priced! The ONLY thing is cleanliness. The counter seats by the window are extremely dirty - crumbs, dirt, stains and I even saw a dead bee. I hope the kitchen is clean given what we saw outside. Also hoping they’ll clean it for next time.

I come to this place every now and then, but after today I will not be coming back - I ordered a meal through the phone for pick up. When I came in to pick my order up, the service and atmosphere of the place was horrendous - all 4 staff members at the front register looked at me but did not greet me. The one girl who was in front of the cash was very rude - I told her I was here to pick up a meal and she was not friendly, asked me what my name was, then handed my food over the front. No thank you, no have a good day, and felt very condescending. Never again.

My favorite place to get poke. The salmon bowl is one of my favorite meals to eat, ever. It’s my go-to on the rare occasion I order food as a treat when I’m having a hard day. Good portion size too and they don’t skimp on the amount of salmon. And the avocado and cucumber are always fresh. The poke bowl is as visually pretty as it is tasty.

And when UberEats screwed me over and their terrible customer service made it impossible to get an acceptable solution, Banzai staff were friendly and helpful and made sure I still had an enjoyable lunch on a really crummy day. I won’t be using UberEats anymore, but thankfully Banzai is also on Skip the Dishes. 😁

The location itself is small but clean and cute and pleasant for casual dining.

I used to be running Sushi restaurant before, so I know at least fish freshness quality. This place is the far best fresh food I have eaten so far. I enjoyed a lot.

Decent place to grab a (Japanese ) style bite to eat.
It's a casual diner that is ordered at the counter and also picked up at the counter.

There's a handful of canned beverages in the cooler at the entrance. And we also have a water dispenser on the counter self-serve.

This evening I was wanting to review a curry dish.
I ordered tonkatsu Curry which is breaded cutlet served over rice smothered in curry sauce and topped with tonkatsu sauce.
I was surprised that there were no potatoes in the curry which is the standard. Instead there was lots of corn and other mixed vegetable.
The curry gravy was a little watery in my opinion but it was pretty flavorful.
A bowl of Curry and a can of soda sent me back $20
including tip.
I wish they had proper utensils for the diners these cheap little plastic forks aren't cutting it for me.
The restaurant is fairly clean and it looks quite stylish but the washroom definitely needs attention. They had the hot water turned off so you can't wash your hands with anything but cold water which I didn't like so I turned it on for you so you can enjoy a more pleasant hand washing.
This Korean owned business certainly tries to put out quality food.

I usually love banzai food but i was very disappointed with the Tonkatsu Curry Rice Bowl. I was expecting curry with potatoes and carrots and I received corn and cauliflower, wich was not mentioned and I wouldn’t have order if it was mentioned because I dont like corn. The Miso Soup was delicious.

Food was presented beautifully. Clearly good quality ingredients. Tempura batter was crisp and not greasy. The udon soup was packed with flavor and big chunks of chicken. Impressed... we will be back.
