Awesome place! Friendly service, good food. We were looking for some late night snacks and came across it as a recommendation from Milestones. The food was free (and really good!) when you bought a drink! What a wonderful way to bring in customers. We ordered a pizza to go because it was so good! A very refreshing experience.
The only place I visited twice while I was in Calgary, both times I got great service, great food and a really nice ambience. Price to performance is top notch especially considering the location.
So we had spent a long day at the Stampede, it was hot, we were knackered and the Bear and Kilt was a cellar bar that was cool and welcoming.
It's also one of the very few places that serves pints. So after a couple of cold pints we had some food.
The misses had a pizza which was deep pan and delicious, I had a bear burger that hit the spot.
Staff were attentive and friendly so a win all around.
