My friends and I shared a plate of mushroom ravioli. It was great. I ordered the Candied Pork Belly, which was served as maple glazed pork belly on a toad in a hole. It was very good and was an interesting take on breakfast for dinner. My friend got the Seared Beef Skillet, she was a little disappointed with it, and wished she had gotten the Candied Pork Belly. I had their current tasting menu with the cocktail pairings.Everything on the menu paired together beautifully.The peach soda with the salad just had a nice mix of carbonation and sweet/spice to cut through the flavors of bacon and mushrooms in the pate beneath the spinach.The second course of chicken thighs in that glaze rolled into the sweetness of the rum cocktail like a growing wave, and the veg made for a clear palate cleanse between the two. The food was some of the best food i've had in Calgary. Every item we ordered (duck breast, ravioli, boursin) was amazing and beyond our expectations. The vibe was great, not very loud yet enough volume to still hold a conversation. One of the best experiences & truly recommend this treasure of a restaurant to all folks keen to try!
