“We eat out a fair bit, but this was the best night out I have had in years! Have not been here before, but definitely coming back often. Came here with my wife and one of our friends later on Saturday afternoon for happy hour and got seated at the bar, overlooking the kitchen. The happy hour drinks were very good, and the food was fantastic. We ended up staying for dinner, and every dish was beautifully prepared, tasty and original - not just a variation on something you would get at a restaurant down the street. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our waiter provided excellent service. He always knew the right time to check up on us and see if we needed more drinks or food. Nice guy too. I originally was a little disappointed to get seated at the bar instead of a table - now I would not want to sit anywhere else. Loved to watch the skills and teamwork of the kitchen staff, who were very friendly and chatted with us when they had time. Loved everything about this place.“

“Came here tonight last minute for dinner.

I got the AB Pork Coppa and it was fantastic. Sometimes you have pork at a restaurant and it can be a little dry....this was the complete opposite. It has flavour and is moist. Really amazing dish.

I also got the White Cheddar Apple Pie, which was good. I liked the crust and ice cream. The apples were good but I'd have added a little cinnamon to take them up a notch. Otherwise, I'd gladly eat the apple pie again.“

“For our first wedding anniversary, my wife and I chose Rouge, and it was a perfect choice that exceeded all expectations. We’re no strangers to fine dining and spent considerable time choosing the right spot. Given my wife’s severe lactose allergy—well beyond average lactose intolerance—she often has to either suffer through a meal or settle for a less enjoyable option compared to mine. But at Rouge, this wasn’t the case. Not only did they carefully and attentively cater to her allergy, but there were even moments where her dishes were arguably better than mine! This level of care is rare and so worth mentioning.

The chef’s menu was an absolute delight (I’ll be dreaming about the foie gras), each wine pairing was flawless, and our server provided outstanding, personalized service. Rouge made our anniversary dinner truly memorable, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the extraordinary experience. We’ll definitely be back!
