The two others had some wonderful eggs-benny. My eggs were perfect, the toast was perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the sausages were spicy and succulent, making for a delicious meal. Arlene was wonderful throughout the whole meal so thanks to her especially!“

“Yesterday, my wife and I decided to treat ourselves to breakfast and chose Stacked on 130th. It was a short drive, and from the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by a staff member who promptly seated us.

Shortly afterward, our server, Kendra, introduced herself and provided us with a detailed overview of the menu, making it easy to choose from the many great options available.

We both ordered breakfast, and our meals arrived surprisingly quickly. The portions were incredibly generous—our plates were absolutely overflowing with food! In fact, my wife couldn't finish her meal and asked for a takeout container. Kendra was more than happy to accommodate her request and did so with a warm smile and a wonderful personality that made our visit even more enjoyable.

From the friendly service to the delicious food and generous portions, our experience exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Stacked to anyone looking for an outstanding breakfast experience.“

“My daughter and I dined at 530pm yesterday, May 24th 2025. We chose to sit in the dining room. We were lead to a table by the fireplace under a great chandelier. The ambiance of Joey Crowfoot is lively and warm. Comfortable seating, perfectly sized tables, and excellent lighting. Our server, whose name I can't recall - tall dark and handsome and a theater major - was attentive and friendly. The food we had was absolutely incredible. We chose goyza dumplings to start which were so flavourful and perfectly cooked. My daughter ordered the hamburger and fries and even with her braces bothering her, she demolished. My blackened chicken with warm potato salad was hands down the BEST meal I've had in a restaurant in a long, long time. I will be dreaming of that salad until I can get back there again !!“

“I avoided going to this place for years because I kept checking the menu and found it too sweets focused and none of the benny options appealed. I also got some lousy food at the restaurant previously in their location (not their fault really, just bad associations on my part). We decided to try Monki last month and were pleasantly surprised. The benny's were very good, the restaurant is cute, and we had good service. We are SUPER picky about breakfasts, but this passed the test. We'll be back.“

We were personally served by Louie, whose hospitality made the entire evening unforgettable. He recommended an exceptional Greek Cabernet Sauvignon wine, along with some of the most delicious Greek appetizers, main platters, and desserts we have ever had. The sandwiches were just perfect. Pretty sure every component is home made. The chicken was crispy and juicy. Spicy in a good way. The meatballs were flavorful and tender. The parm fries perfectly seasoned with freshly shaved parmesan.

We also ordered several drinks. The cocktails we ordered were very well made and reasonably priced (well at least compared to regular bars).

About 100 for 4 drinks, 2 sandwiches, 2 sides. Not the cheapest place but the quality is definitely there.

Would really like to come back again and try the other offerings.“

“They have a great menu and the food is delicious! We are visiting from Toronto and went twice. Hailey provided wonderful service both times. She is super friendly and checked in frequently, definitely someone who cares about what she does! If we could, we would certainly return and I’m sure we will go back any time we are in Calgary. “I had dinner tonight at The Himalayan (17 Ave SW). It was my first time here, and only my second Nepalese restaurant I’ve been to. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and very kind. The restaurant is clean, and intimate. Parking isn’t ideal, but that’s not their fault! I started with the pork momos as an appetizer. They were excellent, but quite expensive ($16 for six regular-sized dumplings). The flavour was great, and they tasted very fresh. For my main, I had Chicken Dal Bhatt, which came with three small dishes of meat and curry and lentils, along with rice, naan and some side dishes. Each of the individual dishes had incredible flavour. They were also hot and fresh, as were the momos. The meal was served on a metal platter, and the small bowls were also metal. It was beautifully presented. As soon as I finished my main meal, the waiter offered me a chai and mango pudding (included in the meal). The chai was aromatic and spicy and earthy and amazing! The mango pudding was icy cold (also in a metal dish), and hit the spot at the end of the meal. For my appetizer and main meal, I opted for mild / zero spice. Everything was so flavourful I don’t regret this decision. However next time, I’ll live a little and try the medium heat. Overall, this was a 10/10 for me and I’m really glad I had the chance to try out this restaurant!!“

Also kudos on a happily accessible restaurant and ladies washroom where things like the mirror and sink and dryer were at a height someone in a wheelchair could actually use(I can't speak for the men's).“

“Truly spectacular food, chill environment and attentive staff.

It was my first time trying crab, and I’m glad it was in this place. The tuna and salmon were really flavorful, you can just taste the freshness. I did regret not ordering the tempura udon because it sounded great, that gives me an excuse to come back though, so it wasn’t a total loss.

That being said, the establishment makes it perfectly clear that due to its small space, you do need a reservation. Luckily, we did make one, but knowing me I would’ve just barged in and things could’ve gone side ways.“
