“Amazing place, delicious food, great show“

“Food was great, I have absolutely no negative to say about it. The Negroni is a must have, sangria was super, the baguette is the best in Calgary and the dry aged prime rib was amazing. Our server made us feel welcome, took a moment to talk with us and then guided us on our choices as well as wine pairing. Dessert was amazing as well: chocolate cream for one and creme brûlée for the other. We had an amazing birthday supper. The place is popular so the noise level goes accordingly but we were able to enjoy our conversation anyway so it wasn't drown into loud music. We will definitely be going back.“

“Normally the service here is really good (especially from Mandy or Veronica) but whenever we get served from one guy (I think his name is Bright) he’s always rushing us and he never seems to be in a good mood. If it was only one time I understand as people can have off days but every time he serves us it’s always subpar.“

“It was a perfect breakfast for the three of us before we dropped out daughter off at the airport. I had my traditional two eggs over easy with toast sausage and bacon. The two others had some wonderful eggs-benny. My eggs were perfect, the toast was perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the sausages were spicy and succulent, making for a delicious meal. Arlene was wonderful throughout the whole meal so thanks to her especially!“

“Tonight I was in a party of 5 at my table. The group was my family with my sister as the visitor from Greece. Alivia was our server and she was so pleasant to us and so sincere with all of us. Her knowledge of the menu and providing us with reviews on the menu items was simply impressive. Our food entrees were absolutely fabulous and even my 87 year old Mom was raving about the service and food. We have frequented this restaurant a few times and tonight will remain memorable. “Thank you! Last night I dined with friends at Earl's--not my choice. Tonight at Joey's was a whole new experience--for the better, much better! Your prices were not inflated; they were reasonable (well, except the dessert was a bit pricey, but then I do not think I have ever tasted a more delicious dessert!) Albeit, we only had drinks and dessert. The waitresses we had the pleasure of interacting with were gracious, friendly and fun--just right! I wish I knew their names. All together the experience was amazing! Top notch! Koodos to Joey's and their staff at Crowfoot Crossing!“

Every time we visit this place I say I will try something new and then I get the pork sandwich again, it is THAT good. “My parents are VERY picky in terms of their indian food. EVERY restaurant I take them to is just not good enough for good punjabi indian food (perhaps a few in NE Calgary). I brought this food home to my parents and they said it was just like home made. Very impressive. Not too greasy and good spice and you can ask for your heat levels as well.“

“Tamarind makes delicious vegan Vietnamese dishes like pho and vermicelli. They make their tofu in house daily and their food is delicious! I highly recommend their pad Thai. “1000/10 food here. Chicken was phenomenal and all of their sauces are delicious, especially the yellow sauce. The white rice tasted amazing with the chicken. Tres leches cake to end the meal really sealed the deal. Undoubtedly my favorite spanish food spot, highly recommend. Strawberry margarita was also too good, the kind that will put you on your as. ? Never write reviews but they definitely deserve the appreciation.“

“I had dinner tonight at The Himalayan (17 Ave SW). It was my first time here, and only my second Nepalese restaurant I’ve been to. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and very kind. The restaurant is clean, and intimate. Parking isn’t ideal, but that’s not their fault! I started with the pork momos as an appetizer. They were excellent, but quite expensive ($16 for six regular-sized dumplings). The flavour was great, and they tasted very fresh. For my main, I had Chicken Dal Bhatt, which came with three small dishes of meat and curry and lentils, along with rice, naan and some side dishes. Each of the individual dishes had incredible flavour. They were also hot and fresh, as were the momos. The meal was served on a metal platter, and the small bowls were also metal. It was beautifully presented. As soon as I finished my main meal, the waiter offered me a chai and mango pudding (included in the meal). The chai was aromatic and spicy and earthy and amazing! The mango pudding was icy cold (also in a metal dish), and hit the spot at the end of the meal. For my appetizer and main meal, I opted for mild / zero spice. Everything was so flavourful I don’t regret this decision. However next time, I’ll live a little and try the medium heat. Overall, this was a 10/10 for me and I’m really glad I had the chance to try out this restaurant!!“

“Absolutely mind blown with the food and service. The meats were cooked to perfection and so flavourful, it just melts in your mouth. The salads are made so beautifully and delicious. All staff members (hostess, servers, managers and bartenders) were super welcoming, kind and just great people. If I can give 10 stars, I would gladly rate this restaurant 10 stars. Definitely coming back! This place is perfect for any kind of special occasion. If you haven’t tried Gaucho, you are missing out.“

“Incredible little hamburger joint. Re-imagined classics served in a cozy 70's era restaurant; think paneled wood walls, kitschy decorations, and lots of orange.
I like to order the Donald McRonald and the coney fries. They also have a really interesting drink menu and 2 flavors of ice cream.

“First visit to Calgary, we're walking down the Center street looking for grub. We fall upon the Local Public Eatery. Quick check up on Facebook and it's very well rated. in we went. Decor is like a Ranch meets Sports Bar. Warm and welcoming. Great staff with wonderful service. You can also play Jenga while you wait. • Good Burger but not mind-blowing. utilitarian. • VERY GOOD Onion rings. So much so, we had seconds. • My girlfriend had the Steak + Frite. The fries looked a little anemic but turned out great. crunchy but not dry and very flavourful. the steak was super tasty and was like butter in the mouth. • Accompanying sauces with the steak and the rings were also quite delicious. And we got to see a real life cowboy. In the end my mind wasn't blown, but it was far better than average and I would go again easy.“
