“We went for breakfast on Saturday. The restaurant was super busy, but the guy told us the wait time and got our food out even faster than he said. We had sev khamni, oil locho, nylon khaman, usal paav, and surti dhokla. Everything tasted authentic and amazing, especially the sev khamni! The guy at the counter was really friendly and even gave my nieces free fruit juice. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for authentic Gujrati taste.“

“My best friend and I occasionally meet up at the Crowfoot Denny’s for breakfast. This was a similar occasion and as always the breakfast was excellent, that goes as well for the service. Karen was very attentive when it came to making sure we had enough coffee and getting our breakfast to the table in a timely manner. She was very polite, and professional. Denny’s at Crowfoor is a great place to meet up with friends for excellent food and great conversation.“

Had an awesome breakfast experience at Stacked on 130th! Their $6.99 breakfast special is such a great value — 3 perfectly seared and juicy sausages, 2 perfectly cooked sunny-side-up eggs, loaded potato bites, and buttery toast. Everything came out hot and delicious.

The staff were amazing and very attentive. Really appreciated the attention to detail, especially the coffee refills without even having to ask. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely coming back again!“

“It was a perfect breakfast for the three of us before we dropped out daughter off at the airport. I had my traditional two eggs over easy with toast sausage and bacon. The two others had some wonderful eggs-benny. My eggs were perfect, the toast was perfect, the bacon was crispy, and the sausages were spicy and succulent, making for a delicious meal. Arlene was wonderful throughout the whole meal so thanks to her especially!“

“My daughter and I dined at 530pm yesterday, May 24th 2025. We chose to sit in the dining room. We were lead to a table by the fireplace under a great chandelier. The ambiance of Joey Crowfoot is lively and warm. Comfortable seating, perfectly sized tables, and excellent lighting. Our server, whose name I can't recall - tall dark and handsome and a theater major - was attentive and friendly. The food we had was absolutely incredible. We chose goyza dumplings to start which were so flavourful and perfectly cooked. My daughter ordered the hamburger and fries and even with her braces bothering her, she demolished. My blackened chicken with warm potato salad was hands down the BEST meal I've had in a restaurant in a long, long time. I will be dreaming of that salad until I can get back there again !!“

Both had different soups to start ( both excellent) and then shared a Ruben sandwich.
Got Happy hour drinks, the cocktails were great, the rosé good and red wine average.

“My husband and I had an amazing Sunday dinner at Cassis. We sat at the bar, and the bartender Audrey was very kind and wonderful to chat with, as was the owner. “My daughter found this place online where a reviewer had indicated that Blue Star offered gluten-free and egg-free waffles. Unfortunately the waffles were not egg-free, but they did have a unique menu with lots of options. Our server Conrad had a very welcoming demeanor. After asking a few questions about the menu he took it upon himself to look into all allergy friendly options and even offered to customize some dishes. When discussing the options he made sure to have the discussion with my daughter, not me which I appreciated.“

“We have been here several times. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and the service has been excellent. The food is delectable, tasty, and nicely presented with just the right balance of spices and heat. We just couldn't stop nibbling on the garlic naan bread and tamarind sauce. “Food was excellent. Love how they served the sashimi on top of ice cubes to keep the fish cold. The mango rolls was a delight and different from other Japanese restaurants as it was filled with small mango pieces inside the rolls. Yummy! The service was great, and the staff was super friendly.“

“Absolutely incredible experience at Tamarind Vietnamese Grill & Noodle House in Calgary. The food was packed with flavor, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best vegan Vietnamese cuisine I’ve had anywhere. The spicy noodle soup in the photo was rich, aromatic, perfectly balanced, and loaded with fresh vegetables, herbs, and house-made ingredients. Every bite tasted fresh and comforting at the same time.“

“I had dinner tonight at The Himalayan (17 Ave SW). It was my first time here, and only my second Nepalese restaurant I’ve been to. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable and very kind. The restaurant is clean, and intimate. Parking isn’t ideal, but that’s not their fault! I started with the pork momos as an appetizer. They were excellent, but quite expensive ($16 for six regular-sized dumplings). The flavour was great, and they tasted very fresh. For my main, I had Chicken Dal Bhatt, which came with three small dishes of meat and curry and lentils, along with rice, naan and some side dishes. Each of the individual dishes had incredible flavour. They were also hot and fresh, as were the momos. The meal was served on a metal platter, and the small bowls were also metal. It was beautifully presented. As soon as I finished my main meal, the waiter offered me a chai and mango pudding (included in the meal). The chai was aromatic and spicy and earthy and amazing! The mango pudding was icy cold (also in a metal dish), and hit the spot at the end of the meal. For my appetizer and main meal, I opted for mild / zero spice. Everything was so flavourful I don’t regret this decision. However next time, I’ll live a little and try the medium heat. Overall, this was a 10/10 for me and I’m really glad I had the chance to try out this restaurant!!“
